Hello and thank you

I initially ask you to agree to excuse my basic knowledge of the English language.

I wish to constitute gradually a small collection of live performances.

I thus read and read again your various messages (thank you)

this is my short collection

- 31/08/1969 Texas Blues Godfatherecords

- 04/09/1970 Live on Blueberry Hill Empress Valley 2+2 cd

- 22/01/1973 Any Port in a Storm Godfatherecords

- 16/03/1973 Remains the Holy Cashmere

- 21/06/1977 LTTE Scorpio

All the performances are must have.

But if I have to make a personal choice, here are the two ones

- Texas Blues a kind of crazy bluesy meteorite

- Remains the Holy the band in all is glorius with Page magic guitar.

Thank you all

Thanks for your mail.

I have not of course neither your knowledge nor your concrete experiment of zep's live performances.

So what I say/write can be seen as "unusual" or nonsense for specialists.

For me Live at Blueberry Hill and LTTE are kind of "Grand messe" a perfect symbiosis between the Group and his Fans and 2 great performances.

But my prefered one is Vienna Remains of the Holy why ?

- the track list is for me perfect (led Zep IV is for me the best one and I like a lot ,the songs from Houses of the Holy which are on these release)

- each guitar note is a wonder and rhythm section fantastic as usual (R Plant is for me clearly a step behind)

- as generally for European shows the experimental and solos parts are more concise more direct to essential (it's what I think and I can of course be totally wrong)

- the sound : bad for R&R good for the rest of CD1 and very good for CD2

Southampton in the greatest and fantastic sounding but not a totally perfect show.

Texas Blues is for me a bit apart from classic show but I like it very very wel.

once again thank you for your councils

Yves
