mstork
Very cool, thanks for posting Jahfin. I love that sound. I read that Jimmy thought he was listening to a pedal steel on Sweetheart of the Rodeo, but he was astounded to see the Byrds live and realize that Clarence White was playing these licks on a normal looking guitar! And of course when Jimmy got his hands on one he did things with it that sounded totally unique to him as one would expect. I really thought the b-bender opened up his playing in some great ways in the 80's. Had a chance to buy a b-bender Tele a few years ago, with I'd done it! Texas Melanie
Thanks Jahfin for posting this. I never knew how it worked. I was always under the impression that the knob, that extends out from the bridge, was the mechanism that when manipulated bent the string.
