Leather Apron Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 Last year at a female employee got one of her breasts pinched by the refridgerator door in the break room as she closed the door. She ended up having to take two weeks off of work on paid leave for her breast to heal. The woman claimed that the door malfunctioned and closed too quickly. Now our company has a new policy added to the employee handbook which read as such: Special care must be taken at all times to insure that no injuries occur from lack of attention to safety in all areas of the facility; including the employee lunch rooms. Please report any unsafe or malfunctioning kitchen appliances to your supervisor or risk managment immediatly..
