Even though we have been graced by the biggest superstars in Rock over the years, the final Wednesday in May 2003 was a watershed program for ROCKLINE. One of Rock's absolute legends, Jimmy Page, joined us for an evening of conversation focusing solely on Led Zeppelin. The two disc "Led Zeppelin DVD" and the three CD "How The West Was Won" audio package had just been released, and Jimmy wanted nothing more than to spell out the history and the behind the scenes information of how it all took place. Not just the recording and the production, but also what was happening with the band when those magical moments actually occurred. Although Jimmy had been a frequent guest on the program over the years, this was the first time he wanted to discuss Zeppelin and Zeppelin alone. We relished the appearances he made as a solo artist, as a member of The Firm, with The Black Crowes and the Page/Plant Project, but this was truly special. So special it bears repeating. Rarely is a show as informative and captivating as this one. We hope you'll mark your calendar and make plans to join us as we rebroadcast this historic event. Don't miss this Superstar Encore show with Jimmy Page, exclusively on the next ROCKLINE! -bc

This is what we call an "evergreen" show, as it features one of the most respected artists in Rock history discussing his formidable collection of Greatest Hits. The album, titled "66 To Timbuktu", was released in autumn of 2003 and contains some very rare early recordings (from 1966 forward) paired with the absolute best of Robert's solo career in a two disc set. It's a full on, 90 minute showcase of one of the most recognizable performers on the planet. Robert was doing the vast majority of press for this release during one day in Birmingham, England on October 27, 2003. We were offered to be the last of Robert's commitments for the day, one devoted almost exclusively to television. As the only radio show to be given this chance, we jumped at it. No calls, just enjoy this amazing show with Robert Plant from your friends at Rockline as he provides behind the scenes stories about some of the greatest music he's helped create. -bc http://rocklineradio.com/index.php

-No this is not related to Zep, but they are airing this one week after they aired the program with Jimmy, seems like they are on a roll, I would not be surprised if there will be an upcoming program regarding the upcoming Led Zeppelin box sets. The interview with Jimmy is still up to listen to on rockline replay. The Robert Plant rockline show will be this Wednesday April 16.
