pjvedder
Does anyone know if the sound quality in the Led Zeppelin complete recordings box set is better then the individual CDs? Or are they the exact same copy?
jaimerosario
There is less hiss in the Led Zeppelin II CD from the Box Set. The sound is less thin. That's what I remember.
Gervox
As soon as I got the complete recordings box,I gave away my very poor original CD's from the 80's (which are still being sold "new" in the shops, I believe.).Most were recorded from 2nd generation sources at best, and had no imput from the band. The Box was remastered. It was all a revelation to me at the time.Clear crisp and clean, and best of all overseen by Jimmy!. However,I wish I had stopped there 'cause I then preceeded to dispence with my vinyl as well!, including some original pressings fom the 70's!. I recently bought Mothership and I'm sure the sound has improved even more, except it aint complete!.
