  1. Hello, everyone! I've been a Led Zeppelin fan ever since growing up with having my father listening/playing their music. I had a fun time making the video I posted below and thought this forum would be a great place to share. Being Zeppelin fans, I'd be interested in hearing your opinion, otherwise, I hope you enjoy!
  2. Hi all, Just wanted to know if there are any other known recordings of 'Hello Mary Lou' that Zep covered live in concert, besides HTWWW version during Whole Lotta Love? That version kicks hard and is an awesome example of the guys firing on all cylinders!
  3. Sharing a little video teaser of The Violution's cover of "Stairway to Heaven" with only electric violin, bass and drums. Enjoy (FYI No guitars were used in the recording of this track.) www.theviolution.com

  7. https://db.tt/CFBui4r7 I know there are quite a few out there who can't stand listening to drum covers, but as Led Zeppelin fans, I emplore you to consider listening to mine. Tonight I jumped into the studio with my engineer friend Ovidiu (he's Romanian, I'm English. Hi!) and I decided to do a few covers; Locked Out Of Heaven, In My Life, to name a few. Almost knackered out at this point, I decided to take on the mightiest of songs, Achilles Last Stand as I knew conquering that would ensure my right of passage as a man, and a drummer - And I tried to pay homage to my hero justly. First take was going well, but a short way through realised the track wasn't loud enough in my headphones for me to follow, especially as the Zeppelin tracks can be muddy at times. So we adjusted that. Next take was going well too, until half way through the fackin' crash cymbal stand decided to collapse on me and the drum kit! 3rd take, and by this point I was nearing exhaustion but this time I was ready, and I really think I did a good job and wanted to share it with you guys. For the drummers in here, I hope you appreciate the smoothness and accuracy with which I performed that blinding single stroke drum fill near the beginning Let me know what you guys think of my efforts, and remember to turn it up!
  8. Hey, guys. I just did a drum cover of Dazed and Confused. I know it's not perfect haha, but I would still like your thoughts! Can't believe I made such stupid mistakes actually... I could barely hear anything sometimes. The track was so muddy through the headphones: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uy5uag6u7kowadx/Thought%20Experiment_6.mp3?dl=0
  9. Hello all, I'm new to this forum and thought I'd introduce myself, while also subjecting myself to endless criticism. My band "Elk Creek" performs "When the Levee Breaks" occasionally. Anyway just thought I'd share. The way we do it ends up being a little more Harmonica focused than Zeppelin's version.
  10. Would you kindly check out my recent cover? Thanks guys!

  13. Hy everybody! It's great to have found this forum, I want to find out so much more about Led Zeppelin, I'm sure I'll spend quite some time here. The band really transformed the consciousness of my parents and their generation back in the 80s when they had to hide to listen to the vinyls. Here's a little something, a kind of tribute to the greats:
