I just bought Wish You Were Here. Just can't get enough. I sat in my car for about 5 minutes when I got to work until it was over. Ha Ha!
Has anyone ever noticed that on the last page of the CD Roger Waters is wearing a "Milwaukee Brewers" shirt? I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My sister went to see them when they were here in I think 1977.
This album has so much meaning when you know the story behind it.
There just aren't words to describe how I feel about this album.

You must. I have it on mp3, CD and vinyl. Of the two post-Watersalbums they did, it's held up the best over the years. AMLoR is agreat album, don't get me wrong.....it just sounds like it was made inthe late 80s and some of the songs just don't sound very good now. TDBon the other hand.....it's as close to the "classic" Floyd sound thethree of them were going to get without Roger. It's worth it forCluster One, Keep Talking and High Hopes alone.

I think between me and pagemccartney, we can hook you up with the right albums to start with. You should probably begin with the quadrangle of Meddle-DSotM-WYWH-Animals and then after that, Obscured By Clouds and The Division Bell. Everything else should be to taste.
There's been so much talk on here about The Division Bell...I must obtain it.

I totally agree. When I scrinch (is that a word?) my face like Ernestine, it is uncanny. I even do the snorting thing.

I just looked up Pamela. She looks very much like Barbie Benton (again, the eyes), which many people have told me over the years.

I've been accused of looking like Barbie Benton (the eyes), Lily Tomlin, and now that I'm aging, Shirley MacLaine.
One time, my 9-year old saw a picture of Slash on here and told me the picture on my husband's dresser of me looks just like Slash. I have to agree.
