I only have the (Zeppelin Digital) version of Hampton i think. Is it worth getting this new EVSD/Godfather or any other release too?

Copenhagen 07.24.1979
Pretty much a perfect show. Page just rolls back the years here esp.
-
Vienna 1973.
Cracking show.
-
Montreux 1970.

Yeah I've had the Winston release for a while and have just grabbed the Eat A Peach version too and had a quick listen and it does sound very good. More clear and robust that I remember the recording being tbh.

If anyone has the 06/22/77 boot to hand. Listen to NQ from just past the 12:00 mark. Bonzo/Page do a unique medley that I havn't heard before. I do wondered if they did do it like that at any other show too tbh, as I found it fantastic.
-
Sounds like I need to grab the Eat A Peach version. I was goingto ask what's the best as I want to burn a copy off for a first time listening friend.

Fyi, the "We are stardust" bit is Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock"..
Yeah I know mate. Just love the way Plant does it on this version. Comes across extra eerie, esp with the visuals too.
-
I love a lot of them but a big favorite of mine is the 05/24 Earls Court.
Jimmy is wonderful on the solos. Fast, fluid with a great melody. The bow solo is also great and I love Plant's "We are stardust" bit.

Fuck i wish there was a clearer version of 06/22/1977 for the No Quarter portion. Bonzo does some drumming that i have never heard before and the melody seems unique to that show.

In My Time Of Dying - Los Angeles Forum, 06/22/1977.

I also recal this exchange, though I can't remember which show... I want to say 1970.09.04 LA Forum, but could be wrong.. anyways.
Robert Plant (to audience): "You don't know how difficult it is to tune a guitar in front of thousands of screaming people."
Jimmy Page (to Plant): "You don't, either."
Anyone know where this was from? Can't remember it at Blueberry Hill.

Just listened to Achilles from this show.
HOLY FUCK BALLS!!! I never realised how near perfect this version was. Page is outstanding. They all are tbh.
LA '77 was my favourite along with Knebworth, but this is right up there.

Essen 1973.
Dazed and Confused is amazing. The interplay between Page/Bonzo is fantastic.
-
Misty Mountain Hop.
Just never been a big fan of it tbh. Not saying I skip it everytime I listen to a boot with it on, but it's not a favorite of mine. I mostly skip it on boots that I go back and listen to, rather than when I listen to them for the first time though.

DEUS EX MACHINA!!!!
Can't stop listening to this. Plant is superb on this show as is Page tbh. Dazed is fantastic.
-
06/23/1977 is probably my most listened to tbh. I just love the Page/Jones sections in this one.

I saw a reccomendation on another forum and decided to order the Eat A Peach and Live at Fillmore Deluxe Editions, looking forward to those

Yes, that's the one I have and, the patch in TYG is there and done well too. Since you have both, is Winston THAT much of an upgrade? I know it's your opinion of course.
I do find the GM version (the CD one, not the DVD), has a punchier sound IMHO, but the Winston one is really good, plus it plugs the gap in TYG...
-
That's what most here have said. Will have to look those places for it. Does this version have the noted edit in TYG?
The Winston version of TYG is complete with part of it being patched with another source,
My personal opinion, i really like the sound of the Genuine Masters: Collectors Edition, but the Winston one is excellent...
I have heard good things about the Jelly Roll and Silver Rarities versions, but havn't got them to comment...
-
If someone can pm the Winston Remaster id really appreciate...the links on the site i use have expired.
As far as i know, there is no Winston remaster of the Offenburg show.....

Toronto 1971 SBD Fragment
I really hope for a full SBD of this one day, just listening to Celebration Day, kicking some ass atm!!

Think we can add the recently discovered Detroit 1970 tape to this list
Best Kashmir live version

Been listening to 02/16/1975 and Kashmir is excellent on this night IMO.
Plus, the second Knebworth night is fantastic. bonzo is on fire during those closing minutes esp.
