Actually I ended up having a dram of my favorite whisky, Laphroaig Quarter Cask :-) wonderful, strong, smoky aroma.

I had an amazing dinner tonight with a friend in a restaurant called Tintå here in Turku, Finland. I had Moroccan lamb skewer, including garlic lamb, pistachio and apricot couscous, tomato and red pepper salad, mint youghurt and pita bread, half a bottle of Australian Shiraz, espresso and limoncello-pistachio pannacotta for dessert. All this was 60€, about 77 dollars. In a great company too :-)

I love reading your stories! My father was a DJ in late 60's and early 70's, and we got hundreds of good lp's at our home. I was kindly brainwashed to good music since I was very young (I was born in 1973). However, what made a fanatic fan was summer 1989 I spent in London. I went into a rockpub somewhere in SoHo and heard WLL. That was it.
