Maybe it's just me but I hear absolutely no similarity whatsoever between Brian Johnson's vocals on Back In Black and Plant's on Black Dog. The only thing they have in common is the word "black".
That high pitched power way of belting, the likes of which Plant pioneered for male rock singers. You don't hear any similarity? The way Johnson screams "don't try and push your luck just get outta mah way" etc etc is Plant to a tee as is Johnson's yelling and screaming all over the song. Back In Black as a song in itself (while not an obvious 'aping' of Black Dog like Whitesnake's Still Of The Night was) is so Zep Black Dog ish. It's that whole heavy blues bump and grind kind of feel that Zep did so sexily on Black Dog. As I said, if Back In Black (the song) had come out shortly after Led Zep IV there would have been all sorts of accusations of trying to emulate Zep but almost a decade went by in the meantime with so many other groups having Zep leanings that few people really gave it much thought. In early '72 though, everyone would have said "hang on a minute, that sounds like Zep with that bump and groove, heavy drumming and bass and that singer screaming and wailing like a banshee over the whole preceedings".
I don't see Zeppelin in other AC/DC songs but with Back In Black it's all over the place, except for the guitars.

Obesity is a disease. Thyroid conditions are not. Being lazy, and eating poorly lead to gaining weight. Strengthening your muscles, eating properly (low sugar, whole grains) and eating vegetables (carbs) lead to a healthy lifestyle.
That's fair enough but that's an entirely seperate issue.
None of the women in the pics I have posted are 'obese.' They are voluptuous and curvy. Here's more.
That, to me, is a good example of a perfect body. Notice I said 'to me'? I don't absolutely claim that is the prefect body as if it is a proven fact.
Most of the guys who make negative comments are just jealous, and most are agitated by good looking women, because they aren't able to interact with them on the level in which they'd like.The women in the pictures I have posted are 'good looking'. My girlfriend is gorgeous.
Lots of women I have been with have been gorgeous. I'm sorry but I just don't find the likes of Bai Ling or any other very very thin woman attractive. I do like some thinner women. Naomi Watts would be a case in point. She is lovely, but would be even lovelier with more meat on her bones, in my opinion.
People who don't take care of themselves are asking for it. You are going to get older, your health is going to decline. Being over-weight is going to add fat deposits in your arteries. and you are going to have problems. You will also be at a higher risk for diabetes. The woman in the first picture is over-weight.Technically I'm overweight. Doesn't stop me from doing 20 mile hikes or 40 mile cycle rides now and then and no it doesn't knock me out. I'm far fitter and can do more than my thinner brother in law for example. I'm fine and healthy despite being 'technically' overweight. Some people are actually more suited to having more weight than others. I had a girlfriend one time who lost a lot of weight and she ended up looking awful. She was way too big boned to lose so much weight and after she lost it she became less active and was less healthy. She looked and acted ill. With some women they have bigger bones...bigger hips for example and when they lose weight it just looks 'wrong'.
No matter how you slice it, she isn't healthy.How do you know that?
It's a little ridiculous to think that it's acceptable, and that it's ok to knock women who take care of themselves.And it's ridiculous to knock women who aren't really even all that much overweight and are pretty NORMAL and AVERAGE sized.
We aren't talking about women who need a forklift truck to move. I've posted pics of women who are only a few dress sizes larger than the typical Hollywood (though not 'real life') 'norm'. Not obese Jerry Springer Show types.
By the way, I very much doubt that Bai Ling needs to take care of herself too much. She's naturally small boned and narrow figured. She probably needs to do very little to keep like that. Like my sister. My sister is naturally thin. She doesn't 'take care of herself'. She doesn't even excercise. She's just like that and couldn't even put on much weight even when she tried.
It's because most of these guys here are liars, and or have never been with a woman who isn't "voluptuous".I can turn it around and say the opposite. As I said, if you haven't been with a woman who can give you a damn good titty f**k then you haven't lived.
Most men would jump on the woman in your second picture. They either just don't know it, until they have the chance, or they are lying to themselves.You don't know 'most' men or what they want so how can you say that? I wouldn't jump on her. Honestly, she does absolutely NOTHING for me. I wouldn't look at her twice in the street. I prefer the women I have posted pics of.

Er, you missed the fact that I DIDN'T make disrespectful comments. I said I 'could' (in reply to Gerald's Game and his disrespectful comment about the curvy lady and using her as an 'umbrella') but that I 'won't' because it's best to not say anything if you have nothing nice to say.
Pointing out Bai Ling has a smaller bum and narrower hips than me ( a male) is not a disrespectful comment. It's simply stating a fact. She does have a smaller bum and narrower hips than me and I don't find that attractive at all.
Last time I checked into it, having fat on your body was less healthy then not.Last time you checked with who? Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Sure, if you are obese or majorly overweight it is a problem but just because a lady is not a size 8 doesn't mean she isn't healthy or isn't as healthy as a size 8. My sister is a size 8 yet my partner who is size 14 is healthier and more active than her by some way.
The women I have posted pictures of are no more overweight than Bai Ling is underweight.

Yeah that is true what has been said. Don't get me wrong, I do like Brian Johnson's voice.........before it began to sound like a duck LOL.
I prefer Bon Scott's rasping dirty voice though. More suitable to the down to earth grittier sound of their earlier albums. I guess Johnson's vocals suited the latter more polished production albums so that's not taking anything away from Brian. I do think though that Johnson was, dare I say it, trying to be Plant esq a bit too much (if the song Back In Black came out in '72 or '73 it would be accused of trying to ape Zep's Black Dog) whereas Scott didn't sound like anybody else that I can think of.

In what way? Heart attained in greater success AFTER Ann Wilson put on weight.
Ann Wilson was slim in the 1970s. She started putting on weight and looked at her best in the mid to late 80s and this coincided with Heart finally cracking the market big time overseas, as well as being more successful than ever in the U.S. Her weight didn't hold her back. She's still going strong nearing 60.

I have to admit her voice is amazing. Awhile back when Heart was on the VH1 rock honors and they performed "Crazy on You" she sent chills down my spine!
Arguably the best female singing voice ever. I swear she must have a deal with the Devil.
Best voice I have ever heard live. What's more, she's the only one who can do Zeppelin songs justice live.
She sings Black Dog and Rock and Roll even better than Plant does now.

I had one girlfriend who was drop dead gorgeous, and then she would put like 2.5-3 hours in on doing makeup. So I wasn't sure why.Surely you are exaggerating there. I once had a girlfriend who wore a lot of makeup but would never take more than 45 mins to 1 hour.

I have no problem at all with women who like to take care of themselves and look their best whenever they can and wearing makeup. In fact I appreciate it and think there is NOTHING sexier than a woman who wants to look her best. Good for them.
My opinion is that nice makeup looks feminine and womanly. In my experience if a woman doesn't bother to make even her face look nice then it's a pretty good bet that the rest of her isn't going to be taken care of either, if you know what I mean hehe.
I once went out with a gal who didn't like to wear make up and mostly wouldn't. She also didn't bother to shave her stubbly legs half the time either. The relationship didn't last.

I agree with the latter, but I'm one of the few people (that I know anyways) that prefers Johnson to Scott.
Call me crazy, but I think he had a much better voice suited for that band.
AC/DC made consistently superior albums with Scott than Johnson. The only overall very good album they made with Johnson was Back In Black. All other Johnson era AC/DC albums have a lot of 'fillers' and forgettable numbers on them.
Scott's AC/DC albums were much better in general. Dirty Deeds, Let There Be Rock, Powerage, Highway To Hell...wow!

Cool mate. Thanks. I'll have to get those. I haven't got the Delux Edition of Street Survivors, only the 'normal' version. I've been out of touch with Skynyrd lately (despite owning all their 'regular' albums with Ronnie). The last Skynyrd I bought a few years back was 'First And Last' but it doesn't have 'One More Time' on it. I guess there is more I need to get then. LOL.
