"Like A Rolling Stone" is one of the best songs of all time.
I'm not a huge Dylan follower, but I like enough of his songs. To me, the most fascinating thing was the late 60's back and forth with him, The Beatles, and the Beach Boys. Each was pushing the other, each was trying to top the other, and it resulted in incredible work from all of them. I love the story of Dylan meeting the Beatles for the first time, and he stunned them by saying something to the effect of "your music is good, but it doesn't really say anything, man" That really affected John Lennon, which prompted him to want to do deeper music, resulting in "Help!".

Yeah, I check it out occasionally. I've only heard official releases, and they do play solo stuff from Plant & co. They also play interview snippets between songs.

That sounds great, matt.
Glad you enjoyed it to the fullest extent. And your wife easily beats most models I see on TV>
Thanks! I think she's beautiful too

How long have you guys been married, Matt?
4 years this New Year's Eve. Getting married on New Year's Eve was more awesome than I could've thought. You figure, everyone is always looking for something to do on New Year's anyway, and so it's a great excuse for your friends/family to get dressed up and go to a nice party, with dinner and open bar. You do the countdown to midnight on the dance floor, then keep on dancing and partying after. There was a New Year's party going on in the ballroom next to ours, and by the end of the night the wedding and the NY party were merging, with people going back and forth. Good times!

Matt, you're so proud of your family.
And it is cool you have no shame to say it.
Thanks Celia! Yeah, I'm especially happy about the little guy here...

I got married on New Year's Eve (which was a BLAST), so I get nostalgic as we hit the holidays here. So allow me to reminisce!

I think any show from '70 was of a pretty high standard, but the RAH show is probably considered "pretty good" in comparison to many others. The cameras captured a very good night, but certainly not the best show ever. However, a very good '70 show buries about anything post-73...
