Derby. Tough as always. Using 2,3,8,18.19 on top in ex and tri and super wheels. Like Upstart to be in the money somewhere. American Pharoah could be the real deal but must use others like Dortmund, Upstart, Materiality and maybe even Itsaknockout. (the 13)

As far as the Derby goes I would use the 18,2,19,3 and 8. I bet an exacta wheel for a dollar on 2,3,8,18 over 19. The race before the Derby is a Turf race known as the Woodword Reserve. A race that has been good to me over the years. I will try and ex 9,10 over 5,11.

So who are the favorites for the Derby this year? I really haven't had time to pay attention to this year's 3 year olds. I know the Wood was run recently, and I guess the Santa Anita Derby has also by this time.
A lightly raced and unbeaten horse called American Pharaoh is the favorite from post 18, the auxiliary gate. I like the race before the Derby more, the Woodword Reserve Turf race. They are taking a two day Double with the Kentucky Oaks today with the Derby tomorrow and a pick, where you can play .50 cent combo, with the Oaks, Woodword and Derby. My numbers in the pick 3 are 5 with 1,8,11 with 2,18,19. An investment of $4.50. Yes I am taking an aggressive single in today's Oaks, a filly race. I go with number 5 Condo Commando with Joel Rosario riding. Procede with caution. More to follow

This chain called the "Beer Market" is in Rochester, NY here and Steve Burton is coming on April 18th. The guy that played Jason for years on General Hospital and is now Dylan on Young and the Restless. Tempted to take a ride over to my old neighborhood where it is. It will be mobbed no doubt. I got to meet Sonny back in the 90s at a local Mall here where I also saw Jim Kelly shopping with his wife one night back in the early 90s.

i would like to state my opinion that Mary Magdelane should be canonized a Saint by the Church and recognized as being as important if not more than most of Jesus's apostles.

Absolute hell in upstate NY. Snow every day and sub zero temps. I have 2-3 feet of snow on my deck. I fell into a snow bank head first Sunday and had to go to the hospital via ambulance to put my new right hip back in place. Painful as hell. More snow coming and sub zero temps to continue into next week at least. I have been feeding the birds daily.

I could not watch at that un Godly hour. I heard Maria was not on her game. And that is a shame because she went into that match on fire. I just do not get it. I guess Serena would scare the dead back to life. She is an Amazon no doubt. Maria is a strong girl too but I guess she just has some type of hex over her. i'll take Maria home with me, you can all have Serena.

Thurs I hit the late pick four at Oaklawn. $384 for .50 cents and hit the ex there and at Santa Anita, picking up a total of 500. Not a bad day

It seems fitting that no. 1 plays no. 2 in a final.
Sharapova and Williams have played in three Grand Slam finals with Williams winning two to one.
On form, Williams should start favourite and rankings mean nothing in finals until the match is over.
Neither have won all four titles in one year, so whilst very good players they are not great, just yet.
Williams has won two Grand Slam titles on six occasions in a calendar year with three G S titles in 2002 (she didn't play in the Australian Open that year) and Sharapova only one on five occasions.
As for the men, I think it will Djokovic vs. Berdych.

Women: Williams in a close one.
Men: Djokovic regardless of who he plays.
Maria is on top of her game. I do not see her being beat by anyone. I will take Maria to win it. Kick ass Maria. And oh, what a set of legs she has! Wow.
