Initially Amazon Canada sent me 2 copies of IV instead of 1 IV and 1 HOTH. They were really quick sending out a new HOTH. I just returned the second IV unopened.... it also had a limited edition print.

I've seen them many times, however last year they (Scott, I mean) did not show up for the concert and they cancelled AFTER the opening bands had played. Hope you have better luck there!

Living in the Eastern most province in Canada, I always have to fly everywhere to see mainstream concerts. Cancellation is always my biggest fear because I invest a lot of money on return flights and hotels, as well as time off from work. I have been lucky so far. I only had 1 concert cancellation (Lenny Kravitz, luckily in my hometown so I had no travel expenses) and 1 postponed (Led Zeppelin at the O2 in 2007, in which I paid dearly for flight/hotel changes, which was soooo worth it.)

Stone Temple Pilots on November 24 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I can't wait. I'd never thought that Scott would get back together with the band (I also assumed that he would be the next musician to overdose on drugs).

We have had nothing but rain, drizzle and fog for the last 5 days. The month of October is not starting off good.

I was just wandering in the downtown section of my city here in Atlantic Canada. We have a street here called George Street, which has the second largest amount of pubs/club/bars on one street (other than Bourbon Street in New Orleans). Several time a year certain festival are held where the street is closed to traffic (pedestrians only) and drinking occurs on the street. I just happen to be there 2 weeks and there was a Bid Light Lime Festival where there were several bands playing, the most notable was THE TREWS (a band from Nova Scotia, Canada). Very good band and they put on a great show as usual (seen them 4 times already).

I was listening to Neil Young's song, Downtown on the radio, and I heard something to the effect of ".....Led Zeppelin on stage..... and a note from Page.....". I thought it was kind of cool and didn't really expect it.

I find Michael Skidmore's claim that Page asked California to teach him the chords to Taurus when they toured together very hard to believe.
