  1. I realize that. Rebecca is my favorite out of that group. :P

    That's Angelina.

    Oh okay.

What are you? A queer or a paedophile? You prefer a woman with a smaller bum than you? :o

You don't like women (as in the title of this thread)?

If ya got nothin' nice to say, best to say nothing. B)

    :D

I'm with spats on this one. I have no problem with large butts (although, quite frankly, I'm more interested in what a girl has upfront then in back... I'm just not a butt guy), but this "large butt" is just not pretty. In fact, it sags a little. That's just gross.

You want to see a large butt that looks good, too, check out J Lo. Frankly, I think Latino women do "big butts" better then anyone else. White women, just don't do the big butt thing as well. I've seen a couple nice ones, but, really, Latino women hold the crown for nicest big butts.

  2. Hey spats... you do know that not all those pics are Rebecca? In fact, in the order I posted both posts of pics, they are:

    Post I

    1. Salma Hayek

    2. Teen Alyssa Milano

    3. Helena Christensen

    Post II

    1. Amber Smith

    2. Gisele Bundchen

    3. Daniela Pestova

    4. Rebecca Romijn Stamos

    5. Laetitia Casta (I'm in love with this girl... :D)

The first post was also supposed to have another picture, but apparently I'm not allowed to edit that post. This was the picture:

    young-jolie-3.jpg

Can anyone guess who that is?

  3. (I have travelled forward in time one hour to write this post as per its current posting time, I am at school and don't have a computer at home... so don't take this post seriously until 8:30 PM EDT tonight :D)

    Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Before that, Lewis Black's Root of all Evil.

And after the Daily Show... The Colbert Report

I recorded the Wednesday shows but only got time to watch them tonight. Wednesday, 10:30 pm to 12:00 am EDT, Comedy Central... greatest TV Show lineup of all-time. Of course, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday only have The Daily Show and Colbert Report from 11:00 pm to 12:00 am EDT on Comedy Central, which is still awesome, but missing Root of All Evil... :D

And then, there's Friday through Sunday, when none of these three shows are on... and I feel depressed. :(

Of course, there's always Bones and Supernatural, but those are the only other shows on TV this season that I care to watch.

  4. I've found all bills up to $100 before at one tiome or another, but the best happened about a year ago.

I parked my car in a parking garage, 5th floor. I got out of my car and saw I had run over a rather large paper bag. So I picked it up with the intentions of throwing it out. It was heavy, so I looked in.

$3500, all in $100 bills. There was no cop station around, and although I do try to be honest, I was out of a job and poor at the time and needed money. In hindisght, I wish I had just put it in a bank acconun and forgotten about it, but that month was a good month for me. :D

  5. There is NO MYSTERY here. They recorded the instrumental track, regular speed. They played it back a LITTLE slower and had Robert sing over that when they recorded his vocals. They then played it back at regular speed. The instruments went back to their normal pitch and Robert's voice goes a little higher than when he recorded it. NOW Way did he sing it an octave lower than what we are hearing on the LP. My best educated guess, since I actually know what the hell I am talking about here, is that his vocal may have been raised by a third or a fourth, tops! Any more than that and the inflections he would have sang would have sounded weird sped up. Can you imagine him singing some of those lines at a low pitch? There is no way to make a line like California sunlight, Sweet Calcutta Rain sound the way it does if he had sung it low. The pitch we hear is close to the actual pitch he sang it at, case closed. Like I said, maybe a third or a fourth, at MOST!!!

Let's move on to real mysteries here. This one is just a case of either ignorance of studio techniques OR musical theory OR vari-speed possibilites OR whatever, but it aint no mystery!

WOAH! I'm sorry, dude. No need to get all huffy about it!

And I will readily admit my ignorance to all of this as it's still another month or two before I head off into the recording studio for the first time. I was making the point that to me it sounds like one tone higher and Alvin the Chipmunk would be singing. I don't think Robert ever hit those vocals live, and, quite frankly, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a guy who could...

  6. Ashley told me to post this he said i look magnificent, I think I look like 17 year old

    interesting photo

    ehhh.jpg

That is, without a doubt, one of the coolest photos I've ever seen. And I agree with Ashley completely. You do look magnificent.

    It's a great photo.

  7. Before I respond to Hang-man, I would like to say...

May God curse 60-second flood control and wipe the idea from the memories of all humans... 30-seconds should be the max time!

    Anyways:

    Hey-Up,

"I Fought my way ouy of the Darkness", may ACTUALLY be called "As Long as i have You", BUT on the Recording that i have (Mixing Desk Recording) it is ACTUALLY called, "I Fought my way out of the Darkness", Unless You were there in NOV 1969, i beg to Differ, ACTUALLY.

I have the same boot, and, in fact, listened to it yesterday. And while you are correct that this is what the tracklisting calls it, the correct title of the song is "As Long as I Have You." The person who wrote out the tracks did not know what the song was, so simply named it after the first lyric that came to their head. In fact, there is no such song, that I know of, called "I Fought my way Out of the Darkness."

    It has been mislabeled.

  8. Hey-Up,

Ive got a copy of "The Fillmore West- San Francisco, 8/11/69", & thats a "Quality Rating A, Mixing Desk Recording" with tracks inc : I fought my way ouy of the Darkness- Sittin & thinkin- Train kept a Roolin- How many more times- Also a copy of the "Opening of the Second USA tour, 24/4/69. Both are pretty good, & Nice to have. I shall dig about to see what else i can find from this era.

    Later, Hang-man.

"I fought my way ouy of the Darkness" is actually called "As Long as I Have You."

    I have a show from Spokane 30 Dec 68

    1. Train kept a Rollin 2.23

    2.I can't quit you Babe 6.05

    3.As long as I have You 8.56

    4.Dazed and Confused 9.46

    5.White Summer/Black Mountain Side 6.43

    6.How many more times 15.00

7.Pat's Delight 7.26 drum solo worth it just to hear this

Alright sound not the best but it is 68 and it came from a tape .I purchased it in a Mall in Norfolk Va

back in the late 80's .This guy came in and set up and all he sold were Bootleg cassette tapes how cool is that and got away with it.That was were i got My first copy of Eddie and Badgeholders have Upgraded those since then.Would love to have a better recording of the 68 show and maybe find a few more from that time frame have quite a few from 69-80. My other wish would be for a Robert Plant solo show that I attended at the Ryman Theater in 2005 in Nashville.

This is the only 1968 show currently in circulation. Why do I want more 1968 shows? Rumor has it that "Good Times Bad Times" and "Your Time is Gonna Come" were played in their entireties on the 1968 tour, either early or mid. The only way we'll ever find out if that's true or not is by getting the recordings.

Also, it makes no sense to me that we don't have recordings of more of the New Yardbirds/1968 tour when, unless I'm much mistaken, we have a recording of the last Yardbirds show. So where are the New Yardbirds shows?

They're out there... I guarantee it. We just have to find them. I think that will be a major goal of mine. Searching for the tapes of the 1968 tour and, God willing, finding them.

Here's a rare and wonderful treat: A complete, listenable recording of... what was it... Led Zeppelin's longest show at 4.5 hours... how nice would that be...

I really want The Object, as well. Obviously a replica, as the original is, at the moment, way too expensive. Although owning the original would be even better...

There are some great bids on Ebay, but those end in 8 days and I have to wait until my Birthday in May to even think about bidding on it... :(

  9. The In the Beginning DVD is incredible.

One of my fave ELP DVDs, though, has to be "Birth of a Band." That is a lot of fun to watch.

I need to get Pictures at an Exhibition on DVD. I actually have it on vinyl, but not on CD or DVD.

  10. Ooh, I know! My next one will be a pick with me wearing my replica of the pendant Jimmy war on The Song Remains the Same and at Earl's Court in '75! You know, the one with the tear-drop shape and the green stone in the middle?

I'm actually wearing it on the photos of me as Jimmy Page, but... well... yeah... :D

    So here's the pendant:

  11. Oh yeah, The WATCHTOWER pushers (jehovahs).. I love em'... if you talk to them, they just keep coming back no matter what you say to them..... you have to admire their conviction.

Oh no. I ain't admiring shit about those guys. Their conviction isn't admirable... it's annoying.

I remember one time on a Friday the 13th, a door-to-door proselytizer was walking around the neighborhood. He went down the street on one side. As he disappeared over the little hill on my street, I ran to my computer, printed out a huge pic of Satan with the words "if you knock on this door you will forever be possessed by the devil," and taped it to the door.

    The proselytizer skipped our house...

    :D

  12. I have friend who went to Norway to visit relatives and the locals were cracking up at the Americans who wanted to go to church. Someone had to go find the preacher guy to preach to them. My friend asked her relative why no one there went to church, and the person said because they see it as a historical thing, or a national heritage thing. She said "We go there all the time to tend the flowers!" All I'm sayin' is look at Norway and how people are doin' over there in general......pretty damn good.

On the other hand, I know people for whom religion is a great comfort, esp. in difficult times. So, whatever works for the individual.

Proof that no religion may be better then having religion...

  13. Luckily, here in England, we don't have any of those really scary "End Timer" nutters that you have over there............. no wonder you feel sad.

You guys must enjoy the peace. But do you have those door-to-door religious salespeople? They're the worst...

  14. I understand and respect Electrophile's point, and your points. Too bad more people can't be more like you guys. It makes me sad when people from England have better respect for separation of church and state than we do. What the hell is this country about when we're fighting like kids in a sandbox over gods and religions. The older I get, the sadder it makes me.

    Aw. Thanks. :)

I have to agree with you, though. There is a reason religion is kept out of state.

But I think the fight over religion will never end.

Honestly, I think one thing that may help take us closer to world peace is the abolishment of religion entirely. I mean, pretty much every war ever fought in human history has been because of religion, and if it wasn't about religion, religion slowly crept it's way in to becoming the largest reason to keep that war going.

But we do what we can. The truth is, as long as there are people, there will be a need to define what cannot be explained.

I contend to this day that because of the Silmarillion(sp?) alone, the whole story of Middle Earth will create one of the largest religions around in the next few thousands years or so. Like all religions, the current ones will die out to be replaced by others. It's the way it is.

  15. They think we're a bunch of dumbasses over here because of self righteous, brain dead pricks like ICQYB.

All forums have their dumbasses mixed in amongst the good people. Even Planet Zeppelin gets it share of fools, though, admittedly, they disappear a lot quicker then the ones here tend to...
