it is a cockney sing along suggesting (to the middle classes and above anyway) cheery working class types in the pub having a sing song, guvnor. Or for our American readers- an historical song originating in the working class communities, particularly the poorer areas of London.
Ah...I like the charm of it (tip of the cap). It should not be mentioned with the drivel of the titles mentioned here so I take it back. It is a WTH(eck)? if you are not familiar with its origin.

Ripped it to some Taiyo Yuden CD-R's. Depth...clarity...balance...separation. If you have a good hi-fi system..it deserves to be played on it and loudly so.

Winners already chosen... Knees Up Mother Brown on the Image Quality label. Not as bad as the one mentioned but supposedly it is a line off an English nursery rhyme or song or whatever?

Today I received Evolution is Timing 3. Oddly when I put in Disks 9 & 10 It says on the menu that the gig is the 4th but is actually the 11th. Likewise Disks 11 & 12 says 2nd day, 11th in the menu but the songs are from the 4th! Seems like a silly mistake for EVSD to make! Just wanted to check that I don't have a weird pressing. Can anyone with this set please verify? Thanks.
Mine is the same... Gigs are switched and don't match the menu.

Page-Plant San Jose 05-20-95 FM broadcast tape...

Rainbow "Captured Live" St. David Hall, Cardiff, Wales 09-15-83. Transferred well from a clean radio station LP set (slight crackles during quiet passages). Just burned it on 2 CD-R's along with a KBFH San Antonio 08-18-82 FM broadcast.

Living Loving Maid... I do like the instrumental version however.

...just finished Pink Floyd's The Wall High Resolution Remaster I downloaded recently. Tacked on are a Waters interview and a Wall radio doc. Have to sit in to Disc 3 and 4 to give it a go.

Cool article...informative and detailed. Interesting as to how the band used Sony/Nak. I read of Plant's remark dismissing the Japan 1971 recordings stating that they made better recordings using their Revox machine.

Like the Dio era as the playing and songs are spectacular... Kill The King, Light In Black, Stargazer, Gates of Babylon, Catch The Rainbow to name some. OK wit the Bonnet line-up. First came across the band during the Turner version (Cardiff 1984 radio broadcast) and worked my way back.

Hard to choose since I've loved the band's music for so long but push comes to shove? It will have to be the fourth.

Me too my friend. I loved every single note of that show. The Doctor was played by Larry Badgley...........
Funny that there was a story that the tour doctor (Badgley or otherwise) was angry about someone raiding his satchel for the pills. Page remarked asking who the hell does he think he is and who does he think is paying his salary. Not exactly conciliatory...
First soundboard heard on CD... Zurich 1980 on that original Twin Eagle release. Still have it too...crazy.

you guys are being way to tough on bootleggers. I would never have heard any of the shows I did back in the mid eighties had it not been for bootleggers. My hobby is not trading for masters or low gen copies, my hobby was to search out vinyl bootlegs then silvers and buy them so that I could not only listen too but also have a physical representation for my money. I have now downloaded everything I could never have bought and it has ruined my hobby. I used to love my boots because I had to search them out and handle them to listen, now they sit packed away in a box because I have every show and 20 variations to boot right at my fingertips in my comp..
There is something to be said for collecting boots because without them most of the people here and around the country would never have had a window into live Zeppelin. I mean how many people in this country really know anything about bootlegs? I'd say it's not that many.
Yep...same here. I still have my Zeppelin bootleg LP's and subsequent CD's from the local record swap meets that are decades old. Good bless and cheers Robert Godwin wherever you are. I've since downloaded versions that are supposed to be off low gen tapes so out of curiosity thanks to the kind souls here who were gracious to give me access. A long way from trading cassettes, then CD-R's and now digital copies off the 'net.

@JTM... Yes, it appears to be the new Millard release of a week ago. I have much older releases of the show on silvers.
-
Well, this is the most recent release...

I sold my Brussels Affair- and Destroyer-box sets. Need I say that I regret that.. 😬 Give it a thought, before you sell!!! I'm gonna have to buy at least Brussels Affair back!!! And I'm looking for LPs, cds won't do 😆
If you are talking about The Swinging Pig box sets, I still have both and kept them when I unloaded most of my LP's other than Zepppelin and related. Had some really cool bootlegs by other artists too. Looking back I shouldn't have but that's another sorry discourse...

To sum up New York 06-07-77...clean and very, very fine sounding. Queen Liz would have been proud.

Thanks. It is the North Bridge remaster. I've done all of the '77 soundboards, I'm just not happy with most of them so I haven't released them. The only other things from that tour I released are the Seattle video with remastered sound and the May 21st soundboard audio. If you're interested, I can send you links for them.
Hello. May I have the links as well for them? Thank you so much. I'm looking forward to it.
