    Looking for records ...

Now that is how you hold a record without touching the surface...

Don't feel like trawling through this thread but there is a pic of Page holding a branch on the beach with just small (at the time) briefs.

I bought the 'Loose Ends' LP yonks ago (1991?) during a Record Fair (I just had to have a live version of 'The Ocean'). Since I didn't have a turntable, I dubbed the album onto cassette at my brother in Law's house and eventually sold the LP to a fellow Zep-head. It also had a Firm track. Apart from that it was a nice way to have some of the live rarities. On Discogs they're stating this one is from 2010...it isn't, since I snapped it up around 1991

"Thank you it's complete" was originally a double CD on Discurios, one of those early nineties' German' loophole labels. Now that one was bloody awful. The source tape suffered from a distracting background noise (bleed through?) and hiss reduction. If the vinyl is a straight copy of the CD, I would avoid that one.

I remember bidding for "Thank you..." on eBay just to have it for posterity and a complete (?) version of BBC 1971. Didn't win as it fetched a hefty tag.

Glad for you MDA... I placed a bid on one. Hope to get it. Now on to EiT4 down the line...

You can order with Yahoo Auctions. It might take a little longer (approx 3 weeks) due the Covid-19 but they ship. I bought EiT-2 on 03-31 and got it delivered 04-21

Agree MDA that is the route I'll likely take... Waiting and looking forward to the Eelgrass version of 09/28 Please Please Me.

    What is this???

Never mind. I figured it out.

Not the biggest DVD collector, but I'd like to snag this one. Hopefully it'll end up on Air Raid soon.

Have the first two, might as well complete it with #3, yes? :) I'll likely get it too. Contacted Air Raid previously but Niwa said they are not doing biz to the US due to COVID-19. No updates on his website thus far.

Makes a good companion piece to History Lesson which I have...

I haven't ordered from Air Raid since all of this horror started, but I'm placing an order today. Hope there aren't a ton of delays.

I am thinking of doing so as well but holding off... Update us on how it goes. Thought about bidding on the Evolution 1 with the new box but wondering how much the postage will be plus the tax that I will have to pay.

Because "Evolution is Timing" sold over a 1000 copies (they told) and was quickly sold out, EVSD just released a new version with a new box cover: Jimmy with his double neck Gibson in 1977 wearing his questionable hat (although I like the picture). Just 2.380 Yen

    Air Raid? Disc Japan?

I keep going to the Air Raid site hoping to see some new Zep releases from Moonchild. Hope they'll release some more titles soon.

Same here... It's only a matter of time when they put out 9-28.

It was definitely worth the price I paid for it. The two volumes are very cool.

Now, if I could just find some of those plastic inner sleeves. Not the biggest fan of the "envelope"-type sleeves that I'm using now.

Try Sleeve City... If I had my way, I'd love those Empress Valley stamped inner sleeves. 30 of them. :)

Yeah, looks like Volume 1 is sold out. Glad I grabbed it when I did.

Evolution Is Timing 2 is a nice comp...from the debut album to the Victoria Theater 1980 rehearsals. Already put the discs in their own sleeves. The Millard leaflet is cool.  Overall good stuff.

  11. Evolution Is Timing 2 arrived today for me too... Unfortunately, I cannot pick it up until Saturdaze (not home to sign for it). Looks like Evolution Is Timing (the first) is sold out given that I don't see it on Air Raid?

Winston Remaster use the EV board How the East Was Won to make his fan remaster called Kutabare Moonchild. Moonchild then copied his remaster, just as they had copied nearly all of his previous ones. EVSD then put Winston's Kutabare onto their latest 929 boxset as the "Hagure Gumo" remaster.

Given that Moonchild is a label of Empress Valley, it makes for a circular flow of cloning: EV released a board that was then made into a fan remaster, and then EV put that remaster out on their Moonchild label. Then, they put that remaster out again on the EV label.

Agree and someone will do a remaster of the 928 then off we go...

This does look really cool, but it's a hundred bucks more than "EIT" and if the music is the same, then it is just for completist sake.

I wouldn't mind one of those EV stickers, though.

Different larger box, artwork, a sticker, looks to be a pair of leaflets...yep, same stuff.

EVSD is definitely trying to make money out of this, as there is a new copy on "Evolution is Timing" aka "The Stargazer" for sale on yahoo auctions. This time it's a numbered version, limited edition just around $ 120.- ex p&p

I got mine at $38. I think I would have paid twice that, especially if it's as good as it looks.

That is still a low price and it does not look like a budget release either... What is good is that it has tracks from L.A. 1975 soundboard. It will tide me over until it becomes part of another release or a Moonchild one.
