this is my outfit for mine and my friend's show, The MySpace Factor. Making fun of The Real World/the hills/MySpace. I am Doobie Dimebag the stoner. Episode 1 was a project but we are continuing it as a series.

  2. I figured out the settings for the 1972, 1973, and 1975 settings.

Now, these settings were set on my Marshall MG Series 100HDFX

so if you have a MG Series 100HDFX. There are some weird numbers that I got while listening to tracks.

    Middle: 6

    Treble: 8

    Contour: 6

    Guitar Settings:

    treble switch

    treble: 5

    rhythm: 10

    1973

    Gain: 6.5

    Bass: 2.33

    Middle: 4

    Treble: 10

    Contour: 4.25

    1975

    Gain: 3-4

    Bass: 0

    Middle: 5.5

    Treble: 7.33

    Contour: 5.5

    Guitar Settings:

  3. during Tangerine on 5/25/75

Plant: this is a song about love, especially first love. Can you remember your first love Bonzo?

    Bonzo: No

Plant: It was a pint of mild. This is called Tangerine.

  4. I was driving on a highway with my friend at like 12 at night or 1. anyway, I saw something in the road. I said, "Hillesland stop!"

    he says "why?"

i got out of his car and pick up the money. It was $50.

  5. One of mine would be during the switch from "No Quarter" to "Tangerine" Earl's Court 5/25/75

Robert: "...this is a song about love, especially first love. Can you remember your first love Bonzo?"

    Bonzo: " No."

Robert: "It was a pint of mild. This is called Tangerine."

  6. I like these the best:

    1. From a show in 1971, Japan...

"Bonzo gone bye, bye. Bonzo gone for bath with Geisha, yes".

    2. From 06/21/77 L.A. Forum show:

    Percy filling time for Bonzo-

"That was called Kashmir...let me take you there. Bit of

trouble with the musical equipment here. Right now, the

man who fought against the elements. The man who fought

food poisoning. The man who drinks Heineken. The man who

doesn't get out of bed. The man who hasn't got a cymbal.

The man who's having a chat with this man who knows the man

who tunes Jimmy's guitar and comes from Scotland and doesn't

know the man they call Tim... but does know Audrey from

Dallas (thank you). The man who now learns to construct

his own drum kit. The man who's _not_ very professional.

(Shuddup, wait a minute!) The man who said he could go back

to a building site anytime (and we all agreed). The man

who's holding up the show... the Rhinestone Cowgirl. C'mon

Bonzo, get on with it! The man who played the Los Angeles

Aztecs and beat them 10-1 by himself. C'mon, you silly

fucker! The man one wonders: is he worth waiting for? ...

    and doesn't realize there's a curfew here. A childhood

friend, a man who many people once said...`never 'eard of

him,' John Bonham Over The Top!!!!"

    3. From the 06/10 show in New-York, introducing "The Battle of Evermore"-

"When we recorded this song we got a girl to help sing the

vocals and we are pleased to have her with us tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen, John Paul Jones on vocals. John Paul

    Jones on vocals!?"

thats a good one! I have that show. (6/21/77)

I can't draw faces for shit!

    damn!

  9. In My Time of Dying" is a blues song that has been covered by many rock musicians since the early 1960s. The original recording was a traditional gospel song recorded by Blind Willie Johnson, titled "Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed"; his sides were recorded over the period 1927-1930.

Interesting to note in the May 2008 issue of Uncut Jimmy is specifically asked about the cough at the end of the track. He doesn't claim it is a tip of the hat to Johnson, who had died from pneumonia after going to sleep in a wet night shirt having fought a fire which consumed his home. Perhaps because it is Jimmy whom coughs?

    mmmm

    i see

  10. Everytime I hear IMTOD, I'm a little perplexed by what Robert sings before the final "my dyin', dyin'...cough" I know the official line is "Oh My Jesus.." but it sounds so much like "Oh, Georgina.."

My daughter is called Georgina and she thinks it's cool as she believes Robert IS singing her name :D I have listened over and over trying to fit "Oh my Jesus.." but it's not working! I can't imagine it is Georgina but can someone confirm beyond doubt what the line is?

IMTOD was an old slave song that was sung in the south during the Civil War, ro som, ething similar to it.
