Unseasonal swell weather!
Ok, not hot but no snow!!!

That this poor kid will be forever buried in a cave here in Utah. He fell in a small crevice upside down, and though they got to him he was dead and slide back down further.
They can not safely recover his body ever. So they are sealing the cave, and that will be the poor kid's final resting ground.
Gawd. That would kill me if that were my kid.
Very Sad.

Wild!!! The calm before the storm. It was cold earlier, and now...1am-ish it's 53 degrees, and windy. Tomorrow it is going to snow in the valley. Can't say I'm thrilled this year. The thrill is gone...

Thanks for the info Mandy. But after checking out the prices, even used on Amazon...like 200 -300 bucks used. Forget that!
So I found "Babbel.com" it is pretty cool. It's visual also, which is how I learn so I've been doing that. I like the features they have. Like when a picture pops up with the German word or phrase you can change the picture until it's one that will stick in your mind. It doesn't have a speak back function...maybe it does, I've only started last week or so.
But, it's a start and it's free.
I'll be happy if I can just get 'travelers conversation' down.

Hotplant, we have snow on the mountains too.
It's 38 right now and clear.
High is supposed to be 60 today, so it's warming up.
Hey Manders, yep, our region gets similar weather. I guess it's time to pack up the tank-tops and haul out some sweaters.
It is warming up today too, so a week or so of high 50's to low 60's.
It's sunny and bright today.

We went from hot to this. 35 degrees as I type.It rained, sleet, hailed and snowed.( And they are making our postal carriers walk, not drive house to house anymore...)
None stuck in the valley, but the mountains have powdered sugar on them.
Brrrrrr.

I just got an email from Jambase...they're great btw, and it said Dylan is coming again!
YAY!! And although the venue sucks...Saltair (stinky air..next to the Great Salt Lake)
It will be inside this time, I want to take my youngest daughter's boyfriend. He had never heard Dylan.
Gawd, I know...that's why I want to take him. Poor guy was raised by strict mormons who didn't believe in "that evil music." HA!
