There are a ton of batshit crazy people on either side. Marjorie Greene and OAC are a great examples on both sides.

Bro, you equate AOC to an openly racist congresswoman who supports the attempt to overthrow of our democracy and is currently promoting succeeding from our country?

If any election was stolen it was the one Hillary should have won and the one Bush stole from Gore.  Trump LOST.   So we must get back to science about this vaccine OR ELSE.    The powers that be will put a fast end to this topic.  You know that is the truth.

Any sane person knows it’s the truth. Persistent distortions of reality don’t change the truth.

  3. Just picked up 3 tix to the Yankees/Tigers game on St Patty’s Day at Lakeland. We tried in 2020 but COVID shut us down just before…then we had tix last year but the lockout fucked us….I want green beer!!

Clearwater is a beach.  If you've been to a beach, it's nothing special.

The visitors dugout is on the 3rd base side.  Right now, it looks like there are plenty of seats available starting about 5 rows back.  They're $100 each.  That's for the evening game.  I didn't look at the matinee game.  Probably more tickets available for that one.  It's an okay stadium,, as indoor stadiums go.

We sat upstairs when we went and it was fine.  Honestly, it's usually so empty that the team could hear you yell at them from wherever you sit.

Go to Berns in Tampa to have dinner.

Actually there is no work until the season ends.  Its not like your grading day to day or week to week like in football.  Its only the division winners and wild cards.  Then maybe the playoffs.  Think it over pal. We have about a month.

Why don’t you do it then?

I’ve never been to a Rays game down in St Pete. Nobody goes, so you shouldn’t have a problem being heard.

  6. And the wheel rolls on…

Free Agency is a couple of weeks away, then the combine. Draft in late April and then mini-camps, etc. The NFL only has a handful of truly down weeks anymore. More international games. Payton in Denver. Coaching changes galore. Tons of quality rb’s in FA this year, along with some young ones coming back from knee injuries. SF qb dilemma. Calvin Ridley coming off suspension in Jacksonville. Miami qb situation completely up in the air. Philly with a ton of FA’s and need to sign Hurts as he heads into the last year of his rookie contract. Plus will Brady stay retired this time? Sounds like the perfect time to start up this season’s thread. Information will be coming at a fast pace…

I appreciate your explanation.  I was unaware of the white flag rule.  It looked like Lagano was leading by a nose when the initial car started going sideways, but Stenhouse took it back by a nose when the actual yellow flag was raised.  Stenhouse did make a good move on that restart.  Not knowing the rules, I was actually getting excited for the expected duel to the finish line.

Here’s a finish with a caution looming. Only because they were wrecking in turn 4/front stretch did they let this play out. Even with guys on fire and flipping. They might have let Sunday’s race finish before throwing the caution, but too many cars were involved to ensure the pack wouldn’t have approached them at a high rate of speed. Endangering the drivers in the cars that weren’t moving, etc. CPM is correct, the Dale Jarrett wreck at New Hampshire changed the rule and was a scary situation that could’ve been very bad for him.

That was exactly why I reacted negatively to the news. I want the Dodgers to play more games against division rivals (the Giants, Padres) and their historic National League rivals (Mets, Braves, Cardinals, Reds, etc.) than a bunch of stupid interleague games against the Angels, Rangers, Indians, etc. All of these interleague games dilute the fun and intrigue of the World Series, too.

And no, I am not doing a baseball contest. I do not follow baseball closely enough to care to do a contest.

Exactly. I’d rather see more Yankees/Red Sox and Yankees/Astros games than dilute them with Yankees/Marlins and Yankees/Pirates games. Yuck. I don’t watch enough to pick anything at this point. I don’t even know how many teams actually make the playoffs anymore! 🤷🏻‍♂️
