Strangest moment for me (and somewhat similarly for thousands of other people) was in 1980 waiting outside the printing plant (no pun) of a big city newspaper for it to release ticket application forms for the Zep 1980 U.S. tour (around midnight), rush the application and check to the main post office (where older workers ask among themselves, "Who is this Jimmy Page dude?"), getting a few hours of sleep before attending morning college classes the next day only to hear on the radio later on that news coming out of England was that tragically John Bonham had passed.

On the original, the vocals start at 0:38. On the remastered version, the vocals start at 0:50. Other than that, they are the same.
Thank you for that answer, Mr. Snrub.

It's an honor to be answered by The Strider (I've read your posts for years!). So, there is a little extra at the very beginning of the remaster that's not on the original? I think that's what you are saying, correct? If so, that's kind of cool.
-
Hi,
I've noticed that the song length time for "Nobody's Fault But Mine" was originally 6:15 but for the re-masters is 6:27. I don't think there is an extra riff in the re-master version, but I think maybe the original release was sped up very slightly? Apologies if this was discussed before.

Thank you, Alchemist's Archivist !!

Love the Death Wish II soundtrack by Mr. Page. I was just wondering if I could get some help with the lyrics to the song? Here's why I got so far, which I am sure ARE FAR FROM CORRECT!! 😁
Oh mamma, don't hypnotize me with your ways
Oh mama, you keep on dancing night to dayYou keep feeding? (you didn't meet me at?) the glow of night, in the heat of the city
Show me? where the music's hot
I'll know? I'll have no feeling
Black cat on a dancing floor
Go (No?) home in some prison (prism? Like Jimmy performed in on the '77 tour?? - ha!!)
Black cat, she'll purr at ye (know-ah)
Don't get no redemption(?)Oh mama, don't hypnotize me with your ways
Oh mama, you keep on dancing night to dayI'm out here in this crowded club
I just don't want any games or freaks (for free)?
But she dried? the hole in my pocket
They pulled (put?) out like a rocket!
Pick (bet?) better things to blow on(?)
Back home to the prison
Black cat, she'll purr, then she'll ??????
She gave no redemption?Oh mama, don't hypnotize me with your ways
Oh mama, you keep on dancing night to dayOh mama... Over it(?)
Oh, a long time! (a little nod to "Rock and Roll"?) -
I don't know if he is left-handed as fact, just that he usually carries the mic in his left-hand, whereas I think most right-handed people use their right-hand to hold a mic.
And ANYBODY knows more about foreign policy than that guy...
-
That would make sense as I believe Plant is left-handed.

Cocaine nails?
Dunno... wasn't that usually done with just 1 fingernail long, usually the pinky/little finger? Only saw that in movies.
-
Robert Plant's got some long, uncut fingernails, Earls Court, London 1975.
-
-
Agree. Never saw that font / typeface that is on the "CRC" label ever on a Swan Song release.

I bet it was something Page dug up, or maybe the album artist. The word "London" seems to be on the rocks as well.

One of the coolest videos I've ever viewed of a Zep cover -- which I think may be filmed in the bar/pub/tavern that was the inspiration for the album cover of In Through the Out Door (my apologies if this has been posted before):
