  1. Everytime I hear IMTOD, I'm a little perplexed by what Robert sings before the final "my dyin', dyin'...cough" I know the official line is "Oh My Jesus.." but it sounds so much like "Oh, Georgina.."

My daughter is called Georgina and she thinks it's cool as she believes Robert IS singing her name :D I have listened over and over trying to fit "Oh my Jesus.." but it's not working! I can't imagine it is Georgina but can someone confirm beyond doubt what the line is?

    Take your pick:

    "Watch your Jesus"

    "Watch your cheating"

    "I'll touch Jesus"

    "Oh tortilla"

    "Oh my teeny"

    "Oh my cheeses"

    "Oh, Georgina"

I'm not even sure Bobby knows himself ...

  2. And I've always wondered, who is this with them?

I'm not 100% sure, but it sorta looks like Fats Domino, whose "Blueberry Hill" Zep covered on their 1971 tour (as well as the name of one of their most famous bootleg recordings).

  3. I´m such a boring old fart that I have never actually heard Radiohead´s music. I know they are supposed to be a great band and that their best known album is called "OK Computer".

But what kind of music do they play? Anyone care to enlighten me?

The closest I can describe it is maybe like a modern-day version of Pink Floyd.

OK Computer is a great album. Not so impressed with their other stuff.

If Plant likes Captain Beefheart (whose songs are eclectic and witty) he might like Radiohead as well given the right circumstances.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers haven't been good since Blood Sugar Sex Magik where all they put out on the radio is Lite Rock.

Methinks Percy was polluted with the drink and talking out of his @$$.

  4. ok, I've listened to The Crunge about a hundred times over today. I was reading through the liner notes for all the LZ albums and had forgotten that there's lyrics in Houses Of The Holy. I was reading through the lyrics for The Crunge and saw that Robert sings about a female friend of his, but I could have sworn he sings "he" in the actually song, several times. I've listened over and over to the song and it seems to me that the way he's singing he must be saying "he" and not "she", which doesn't make much sense to me, but there it is. does anyone know what the lyrics are officially? is it "HE" or "SHE" ??

Not sure of the official version, but it sure sounds like Plant sings 'he.'

Would make sense (if there are any to the lyrics to this song), as he later says, "now, let me tell you about my girl..."

Heard a rumor once that it was about a Page 3 girl from a London rag/newspaper ("I open up a newspaper and what do I see?") where each day they publish a picture of a topless girl. I guess they call that an eye-opener.
