  1. Aside: does anyone have a lossless audio rip of the Led Zeppelin DVD? I had it on a drive that failed… PM if so!
  2. Thank you all so much for being so helpful! What a great community! which brings me to this confounding bridge: does anyone know what release 23 is? and lastly: does anyone have the 2007-12-10 Dynamic Evening in flac?
  3. If anyone has St Louis- Better Late Than Never in flac and is willing to share, please drop me a line. Happy 2024!
  4. I’m very excited to see your take on 1/22/1975. Plant is remarkably good this night and Page seems in top form. Listening to this seems like it is misdated given how those two were in January. I actually prefer this show as my 1975 goto. Your mileage may vary…
  5. Something unusual to share about this particular recording is that it was broadcast live on the radio apparently, and Led Zeppelin agreed to this. Knowing what we all know about Peter Grant, I thought I would share that. I would also say it adds a slightly annoying aspect to the recording because you can hear the call letters mumbled into the recording every so often. I understand it was well intended, but I’m just reporting the facts here. Zepfan did a nice interview with the taper:
  6. A possibility is that release 023 could be 1969-01-26 Boston? 022 Is Boston 1969-01-23 and 024 is 1969-01-31 NY. Liquid Led used almost all SBD previously (except London 2007), so perhaps their last run of releases was a string of January 1969 AUD shows? Liquid Led seems to only use top-notch sources (KRW_CO put out a 1969-01-26 low-gen/possible master of this not long ago). Their listings also always say brought to you by "bostonbro" so maybe they went out on a high note with a couple of hometown shows? (Especially ones that aren't infamous as Boston 73) Just spitballing here...
  7. ^ updated this list to include the BBC/02. Number 023 though... Something/Anything?
  8. Also, also: San Diego 75 has a corrupt Dazed And Confused file. Only 10 minutes of 32 will play. I’m patching in EVSD version but will honor anyone in a toast with a shot of Irish Whiskey that can provide a full lossless version.
  9. Thank you! The only show I don’t have now the the 2007-12-10 London show (and 023 if there is one. Bueller?) Black Beauty has half of O2 in mp3 but I’m on the market for the whole in flac. Wink-wink. Also, since no one asked I decided I’m going to review all the Liquid Led titles in order of when they were released… I’ll start a Liquid Led Appreciation thread soon.
  10. Yes! All are accounted for but 023… Maybe Liquid Led sees it as an unlucky number or maybe they saw the movie with Jim Carrey?
  11. Strider, I love your Los Angeles concert stories and share your interest in the Berkeley 71 tapers state of mind when/if he threw the tapes into the ocean. I've read that Liquid Led is a bass player... Whatever they do to the bass gives a very natural JPJ and Bonzo kick drum. They have only released SBD/FM recordings and they sound remarkable. As Xolo1974 refers to Texas Pop, the drums in the intro are so crackin' that it makes you want to jump out of your seat and let the spirit take over. It's hard to compare with the labels you mention as a whole since they all release a lot of AUD. I think Liquid Led has a clarity, not too loud, and not no-noised to death. Like WR, they aren't too hot. Like Godfather/Eat A Peach/ GM, they are very clear and superior releases. You can find most of these at forums with 101 in their name (and some at internet archive) in glorious Flac... I would recommend trying Texas Pop and see what you hear.
  12. Hi all. Long time reader, first time poster. I've read tons of great info/discussions here over the years and far away and am glad to finally get into the fray! The gibsonfan159 nitpicking threads are my absolute favorites! Anyhow, I have lately fallen in love with the Liquid Led releases. The combo of sound and art are most excellent. However they tweak the low frequencies is absolutely brilliant and make these bootleg ears most appreciative and grateful for what they (bostonbro?) have released. From what I can tell, it looks like Liquid Led has 24 releases total. Is that all there is? Of these 24 releases, I cannot find any info on 008, 011, or 023. One of these is London 2007-12-10 (and I can't find an active DL link) Does anyone have further info on these? I'm a FLAC man by nature but will take what I can get if it gets the job done. Please PM me if you are feeling kind. To share some labor, here is a list of Liquid Led releases: 001 Cleveland 1977-04-27 002 New York 1975-02-12 003 Lewisville 1969-08-31 004 Vancouver 1970-03-21 005 San Francisco 1969-04-24 006 Copenhagen 1969-03-16 007 London 1971-04-01 008 ??? 009 Seattle 1973-07-17 010 Toronto 1971-09-04 011 ??? 012 St. Louis 1975-02-16 013 San Francisco 1969-01-11 014 Buffalo 1973-07-15 015 Stoke 1973-01-15 016 Southampton 1973-01-22 017 Detroit 1973-07-13 018 San Francisco 1969-04-27 019 Vancouver 1975-03-19&20 020 Seattle 1975-03-17 021 San Diego 1975-03-14 022 Boston 1969-01-23 023 ??? 024 New York 1969-01-31
