AEN27...thanks for giving me a glimpse of my favourite Jimmy Pic's with that famous Scarf.

The one with brown jacket is one of my most fav. pictures of him ever. I can say one thing about rock stars..."they don't make them like they use to"...

today rock stars are "boys"...but JP got way with being both boy and a man...very very classy man (and a notrious boy!)

who wares a scarf even when he is playing guitar on stage...imagine that today!!

As for his beautiful beard pictures earlier ...only one thing I wonder, why did Miss Pnot ever mention his beard in I am with a Band book..I have this book, funny she does not make any reference at all. She dated him throughout early 70's...

Love these pictures of Jimmy MSG!! It's funny, because there was a period of time when I was younger that I was not too fond of him with the facial hair, but he definitely looks HOT with it!! (Um ok, you know that to me he looks hot no matter what...)

...it's that sweet innocent look that he gives through his beard and long hair..the eyes so shiny and inviting...the hair add even more mystery, fascination, curiosity ..how could a girl resist!!!

...there is a thread for Yardbirds Pictures in this forum. You can easily search .sorry I just don't have it right now...it is worth the visit. He is very very charming in all of them...I would love to be on that Boat..

About these Boat pictures...I think Jimmy indicated in a book that he went to Mauritius Island in his early career...You know he is truly special...his search for music, culture in far-away places with such passion...while doing it, he doesn't look too bad at all !!!

MSG, you are too funny!! And actually (as you well know) my absolute favorite Jimmy period back then was 1973. Because I saw Zeppelin in 1977, that will always hold a special place in my heart (besides the fact that in some of the pictures from that time he looks so damn sexy to me!!)

...Perfect pictures for me too...I Love JP'77...that is the only way I remember him from back then (almost 16!). God pictures like these had such effect on me, an entirely new "character" in me was beginning to take "shape"...I remember looking at magazine covers and thinking why is he so unusual and ultra sophisticated........

I do plan to read some more books mentioned in this thread, they do give me an idea of how exciting those times were..

..from what I remember from my Page "research/readings" here and there, I think he made a reference to Bebe B. as "she was nice, not a "Coke Whore"....all of the authors commend Page as the only English Rock Star who never criticized/degraded(the so called "groupies")...Page is very classy...he does sincerely respect women and not merely just make fun of them and use them.

The law of supply and demand was balanced most accurately!!! now how about some more of Hot Hot Mr. Page...pictures anyone?

You should to read Catherine James's book too and Bebe Buell. Bebe talks about Jimmy being Sir Lancelot. In both he is so sweet and romantic all the way through. Because of Bebe's book, I can never Camelot in the same way again and think of Jimmy as Lancelot and his pre-philite interest/looks fits right in with that.

One thing for sure...all the ladies past/present are attracted to Jimmy's exceptional looks/charisma...what a picture he poses for...beautiful!!!

Oh MSG, I have always loved this picture of Jimmy from the jam with Bad Company!! He just looked so incredibly hot and sexy there!!!

...agreed it is a memorable picture, just so natural...I have read Ms. Pamela's book I am with a Band (fascinated with Jimmy Page only!!. She mentions that she once accompanied Jimmy to a concert and she forgot his Chiffon Shirt and that he was bit mad ..."He will get over it" . It appears to be that shirt...anybody know for sure.......

..JAL...I might as well respond to this interesting "Monkey business" '72 picture...haven't seen this picture in ages... I am so envious of these two lucky kids on the street! I too was growing up in India (11 years old! when this picture was taken!!! talk about my Zep-luck! God only if they know!!!!!!!!!

As for the other classic shots, god, I am looking for that kind of vest/sweater...He is just so gorgeous...I will forever remember that picture of him with that jacket/hair....so so charming!!!
