  1. I have wondered this too for a while, but I haven't found an answer and there must have been a good reason for them to come together. I also am not sure whether Snowy played on any of Gilmours solo stuff, so if anyone knows that it would be great.
  2. Also Snowy White was originally Gilmour's friend so I think they just played very similarly.
  3. I agree that it is sad when people refer to Led Zeppelin as he, but I work with kids and one day I was wearing a zep shirt, I think it was the Mothership one but I don't know, and a 4 year old said that he had the same shirt, so I'm not worried.
  4. I believe you are referring to Led Zeppelin the Definitive Biography by Ritchie Yorke, it's a really good book but there are a few dates that were wrong, but only on non-zep related stuff, they might have been typos.
  5. I wore a zep shirt to my first English class last semester and the next class he was going to bring in some songs to show how they reflect on society so he brought in some zep for me. Then for my midterm I wrote an about Going to California and he didn't mark anything off.
  6. "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" is less than one and a half minutes longer than ALS.
  7. Ya it kind of sucks i hit Park City on their closing weekend a few years back (because I used to ski park), but I haven't been able to make it back so i could shred Alta, but that seems like it would be an awesome closing weekend (when i googled it the first thing that came up was about the party) too bad I'm pretty broke now. Closing weekend at Squaw is usually the last weekend of may, but the past couple of years it has been more like the beginning of May, but on closing day everyone takes a last run doing reverse traverse and hiking to ski the stuff off the Headwall and KT-22 chairs (ma
  8. Ya you float through our snow, I don't know where everyone gets the on top stuff, but we rarely have to deal with hitting hard pack underneath, and it is way better and safer for taking big air. Oh yah and lucky for you with the awesome conditions right now, we don't currently have anything in the forecast , so Utah's lookin pretty damn good right now.
  9. That looks super fun, and ya you guys get a lot more of the real fluffy but we get loots too, it just takes more effort to ski through our heavier powder, anyways shred on.
  10. Some people would say that sierra cement is the greatest snow on earth, due to the fact that it can stick to steeper slopes.
  11. It's been cold and sunny in Tahoe, but hopefully it will start snowing again tomorrow.
  12. Ya I need studded snow tires to get up the hill to my house on certain days.
  13. First off great post, when disagreements come about the biggest thing is be mature and don't be a dick and you could have an intelligent conversation. I spend a fair amount of time a ski forum also, and it is ridiculous how immature people can be there, one time someone pretty much told me to agree with them or i was stupid, so in comparison this site is much better, but most the plant stuff has been argued to death so most everyone should just agree to disagree on those topics.
  14. You have to be sure to remember that it isn't actually a word just in case you encounter any smartass zep fans while doing business.
  15. Ya i didn't think it was a bootleg at first so i am very thankful that i didn't have money
