OK I've been collecting Creem for a bit and on some of my copies there is the price for the magazine in $ but on others there is a price in pence!

So does this mean that Creem was available in Briton aswell as America?

Thanks

I would think so but have you checked their website?

Well, if it had been sold in pence, then logic would tell you that it had been sold in Britain. I have the Creem hardback, which has lots of old shizzle from the magazine. That's pretty good. Think it's safe to say, however, that it wasn't particularly popular/common here. It was a very American-orientated magazine - specifically Detroit-based - so a lot of the bands featured were local bands, and, as a consequence, weren't that well-known in Britain. It would've had a market here, but it would've been very specific. It definately wasn't like Rolling Stone or NME.
