Wolfman
This was honestly one of the best shows I've been to in a long time (and I go to a lot of shows). John Fogerty live is simply amazing and a lot of fun too. He had three other guitarists who also played other instruments (mandolin, violin, etc.) also. Their drummer was incredible. Very powerful sounding up close. Boy, could they jam. JF doesn't stop smiling from the minute he hits the stage. He also did a nod to Eddie Van Halen and played an Eruption-type solo. Much like Peter Frampton a few years back, I was blown away at how good John is on guitar. Btw, he played around 10-15 different guitars. So much energy! It helped that I was only six rows from the stage. This still has me buzzing and the show ended way over two hours ago. Here's the setlist: Hey Tonight Who'll Stop the Rain When Will I Be Loved Lookin' Out My Back Door Ramble Tamble Midnight Special Run Through the Jungle Green River Back Home Again Big Train from Memphis Workin' on a Building Keep on Chooglin Have You Ever Seen the Rain Garden Party Night Time is the Right Time Born on the Bayou Comin Down the Road Rock and Roll Girls Down on the Corner Centerfield (he used a baseball bat guitar here) Bad Moon Rising Old Man Down the Road Fortunate Son ENCORE Up Around the Bend Proud Mary
