JethroTull Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Anybody else enjoying this show on VH1? They recently finished a season taping in LA. A guest guitarist sitting in the audience would rock out while the show would break for a commercial. Would be nice to see them get a member of Zep to appear. Quote

Cool show, they had Bonham on it a few weeks ago. Quote
DewieCox Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 It'd be nice if they had a budget for some real hosts. The 2 rocker type dudes can be alright, but Eddie Trunk is just awful. He asks stupid questions and makes sure to rub it in the other fellas' faces that he gets to hobnob with all kinds of big stars away from the show. Quote

The two "rocker type dudes" are actually actors with extensive backgrounds in comedy. Eddie Trunk is the one with the true rock n' roll pedigree as he's had a long standing career in radio and the music business in general. What you interpret as his rubbing it in his co-hosts' faces is Trunk just playing it up for the cameras for the sake of the show. It is VH1 Classic after all. It's no different than the approach other shows from the MTV corporation have taken over the years. Quote
