The project includes appearances by Peter Frampton, Warren Haynes, Nels Cline, John Scofield, Derek Trucks, Steve Lukather, Sonny Landreth, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Morse, Brad Whitford and others. Bolin, who also worked with the James Gang, passed in 1976. This new album, to be called Great Gypsy Soul, is set for release on March 26.
