Quentin Tarantino's My Best Friend's Birthday

In 1987 Quentin Tarantino finished his first movie. Unfortunately half of it got lost in a fire before the movie could be screened. All that survived was 37 minutes of material.

A guy on a Dutch movie forum (Drs. DAJA) could get his hands on the material and he editted the parts. He has re-editted it, turned the dark-green to black/white and added a soundtrack to make the movie more enjoyable to see. Above all he thinks it serves the quality of Tarantino's work and he had spent one and a half month of work on it.

I saw this way back when I first got into QT. It's a nice amateur mesh of everything that was to come in his movies.
