Wolfman
I saw the mighty Pearl Jam in Philly last night. They are by far still the best band for your money. Almost three hours of great tunes and jamming for $77. I had a blast and the crowd was wild as usual. I must admit I liked Monday's setlist better, but I did finally get to hear World Wide Suicide live though. Good times with a great band. Spot on as usual (and Eddie mentioned Zeppelin when talking about all the great British bands of the past). If you have never seen them live....GO!!!! Here's the setlist: Pendulum Wash Nothingman Lightning Bolt Corduroy Mind Your Manners Amongst the Waves Hail Hail Satan's Bed Untitled MFC Even Flow Sirens Got Some Given to Fly Present Tense Infallible World Wide Suicide Do the Evolution Better Man 21. Encore: Parachutes Yellow Moon Come Back Future Days Breath State of Love and Trust Unthought Known Porch 29. Encore 2: Last Kiss (Wayne Cochran cover) Leaving Here (Edward Holland, Jr. cover) Blood Alive Baba O'Riley (The Who cover) Yellow Ledbetter
Insanemfer
I saw them many times through the years and you are right. My fav show was in '95 at Soldier Field in Chicago. They could play for days with the same amount of enregy that they produce...
Mudslider
PJ has been opening with "Pendulum", a moody slow melodic tune that began with Mike walking onstage with a violin bow in one hand and his guitar in the other. An older british gentleman miles away would be proud. PJ is certainly one great band if you have never seen them live. Matt is one of the best drummers I have ever heard; amazing!
