Piper_Led_Head Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 Hey everyone, I remember learning somewhere that Robert Plant had read Lewis Spence's The Magic Arts in Celtic Britain and that this book gave some inspiration for Stairway, but I can't remember where I came about this and it's been bugging me. Of course there are a lot of bogus facts floating around so I'm not sure if this is one of them or not; does anyone happen to know if this is one's true? Unsure if it's supported by a direct quote from Robert, but The Magic Arts in Celtic Britain was published in 1970, so it's certainly plausible it may have inspired some of the lyrics.
