Cat
Page to release soundtrack of Death Wish II Daily Herald Chicago, Illinois February 19, 1982 by Lisa Robinson We're about to hear something from Led Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page. The sound track of "Death Wish II" will be released by Zep's own Swan Song Records in early March. The movie, the long-awaited follow-up to "Death Wish," stars Charles Bronson and his wife Jill Ireland. Director is Michael Winner, a friend of Page. Page wrote, produced and performed on the sound track. It's all new material and Includes song titles such as "Jam Sandwich," "Hotel Rats and Photostats" and "Big Band, Sax and Violence." This is the first we've heard of any member of Led Zeppelin since their 1980 tour was canceled because of the tragic death of drummer John Bonham. There have been increasing rumors that Zep will do something together this year, but whether it will be a tour or an album remains to be seen. There can be no doubt that with all of the current rage for "heavy metal," Zeppelin, being the classic of that genre, would sell out anywhere they wanted to play almost immediately. Stargroves Tangie
They really have to get this soundtrack rereleased in the US. I would like to see that too. I have a Japanese cd & the recording level seems a bit low (compared to other cds).
