Congrats to American Pharoah and his people- Bob Baffert, Victor Espinoza, the Zayat family and the ones behind the scenes you don't hear about (groom, exercise rider, etc)! He looked so beautiful in his victory, I hope they don't decide to retire him right away and run him in the Travers at Saratoga and the Breeders Cup later this year.

I hope so too, it would be nice to see a horse finally do it. We were spoiled in the 70s with Secretariat, Seattle Slew & Affirmed all within 5 years of each other. For anybody planning on going- NYRA is going to cap the attendance at 90,000 (last year California Chrome drew 120,000 and people waited hours to get out of Belmont Park) so get there early especially if it's a nice day.
