Look, I was really excited on finding that fuckin book in the University library today and you think that's wrong and I don't know why! I'm sorry if my sharing those pics seem silly to you! For you, it might be just some silly book, but to me, its something special! And you pretty much hurt my feelings with that post of yours but anyway I won't take it any further.
P.S
Bravo for your beautiful sarcasm there mate! How very intelligent!
Kiwi don't let him hurt your feelings, it's not worth it. For the record I can tell you that I've been in lots of university libraries and not once seen a book on Zeppelin. I just wish my university library had at least one book (but then I already own most of them! ). The Mick Wall book is really good read, it's mainly focused on the music which makes a refreshing change. Happy reading!

No, of course not. You look really happy. Where was that picture taken? I have that same poster on the wall in my office.

Just catching upon people's pics and noticed you are from Staffordshire and so am I. Which end are you? I'm north
I'm also in the north, in Keele near Newcastle-under-Lyme, I'm originally from Warwickshire though.

Watching BBC 2 last night and they were advertising a history programme about the Normans in England and the Battle of Evermore was playing in the background. Kind of cool really.
I've noticed the BBC like to use Zeppelin tunes in their adverts. Last year, for a period drama called Larkrise to Candleford they used the riff from Misty Mountain Hop. It was quite an unusual combination.

The problem with Cole's book is that you can't believe everything you read in it. It's somewhat sensationalist.

Mick Wall's Led Zeppelin: When Giants Walked the Earth is a really good book about Zeppelin's music rather than their alleged off-stage antics. I can highly recommend that one.

Okay, these are my least favourite tracks, but I still listen to them because I love everything Zeppelin.
LZ I. Black Mountain Side
LZ II. Living Loving Maid
LZ III. Hats Off to (Roy) Harper
LZ IV. Black Dog (this is such a hard choice because I love this album)
HOTH. The Crunge
PG. Boogie with Stu
P. Hots on For Nowhere
ITTOD. Hot Dog
Coda. Ozone Baby
I'm taking back my response! I can't even believe I made that list. After listening to a bit of Zep last night I love all of the above, especially Black Dog, what on earth was I thinking! I'd also forgotten how much Hot Dog completely rocks. The only one that stands is the Crunge.

In an episode of the TV show Lost (not sure which episode or season but can find out as I have them all on DVD!) the character Hurley is walking through a record store with his best friend who is wearing a Led Zeppelin T.shirt. I love this show and think it's a really cool reference. Someone may have already mentioned this one since I haven't read through the entire thread!
Also for those of you in the UK and Australia, the Aussie soap Neighbours has a character called Declan who wears a Led Zeppelin T.shirt in an episode. Also in another episode the doctor Karl Kennedy mentions John Bonham as being the greatest drummer ever. Someone who works on the show is obviously a fan!

I think this has to be my favourite album by Robert, some lovely songs with some great lyrics.
