The fact that Danny was banned. What a loss to the forum! It just isn't fair!
I am rather suprised that new members (you know who you are, buddy boy!) who chose to use choice words like "biggots"and "Nazis" coupled with a lovely touch of physical violence threatening to "take my fist upside your head" and other crap for the sake of "defending" themselves weren't taken to task and given the same treatment. What a shame!
Yes, Kiwi, it's very sad that Danny has got banned again. That new member with the foul mouth who was literally ranting in that thread you mentioned doesn't even know him! He's the arrogant one. Danny was entertaining, thoughful and a great friend. I hope he's able to come back soon.

NATALIE PORTMAN
She's a great actress! I can't wait to see her in The Black Swan.
-
Hi Kiwi
I watched The Lovely Bones at the weekend, and I thought it was good too. That young girl who stars in it is such a good actress. I'm glad you liked it too.

Hi Magic,
I had the fortune to meet Helena once, I had to deliver something for a photo shoot she was on.
I knocked on the door and had no idea that Helena would open it, our eyes met, our hearts raced, but not a word was spoken as she signed for the item and slowly closed the door, leaving me out in the cold once more, but we both knew that under different circumstances we would have been together, well that's what I tell myself anyways. Just dont' let Misses BIGDAN get to hear about this as I'm sure she would get the wrong end of the stick.
Kind Regards, Danny
PS, She's a right little tart as well.
Hi Danny
Wow, I am very envious! I'm a huge fan, it's a disgrace that she hasn't won an Academy Award yet!
I expect she vividly remembers her very special encounter with BIGDAN! Don't worry, my lips are sealed, I won't mention a word of this to Misses BIGDAN!

Some very classy and talented actresses:
Helena Bonham Carter
Audrey Hepburn
Probably my favourite actress of all, the lovely and immensely talented Meryl Streep
-
A couple of great women who have contributed a lot to English literature:
Virginia Woolf
Sylvia Plath (I found one of her wearing a bikini especially for you spidersandsnakes )

^^^A great improvement to this thread Kiwi!! Some very distinguished ladies there!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Nice one
This makes you proud to British or not depending your point of view , this man single handedly has given us more gaffes and faux pars than anyone, read and weep with either laughter or exasperation at "MR SLITTY EYES" himself "Prince Philip"
International diplomacy is not Prince Philip's strong suit
The Duke of Edinburgh
During a state visit to China in 1986, he famously told a group of British students: "If you stay here much longer, you'll all be slitty-eyed".
And speaking to a driving instructor in Oban, Scotland, he asked: "How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to get them through the test?".
Other eyebrow-raising pronouncements have included:
•Still throwing spears? (Question put to an Australian Aborigine during a visit in March 2002)
•"Everybody was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed." (during the 1981 recession)
•"If a cricketer, for instance, suddenly decided to go into a school and batter a lot of people to death with a cricket bat, which he could do very easily, I mean, are you going to ban cricket bats?" (in 1996, amid calls to ban firearms after the Dunblane shooting)
•"Bloody silly fool!" (in 1997, referring to a Cambridge University car park attendant who failed to recognise him)
•"It looks as if it was put in by an Indian." (in 1999, referring to an old-fashioned fuse box in a factory near Edinburgh)
•"Deaf? If you are near there, no wonder you are deaf." (in 1999, to young deaf people in Cardiff, referring to a school's steel band)
•"You are a woman, aren't you?" (in 1984, in Kenya, to a native woman who had presented him with a small gift)
•"Oh no, I might catch some ghastly disease." (in 1992 in Australia, when asked to stroke a Koala bear)
•"You can't have been here that long - you haven't got a pot belly." (in 1993, to a Briton in Budapest, Hungary)
•"Aren't most of you descended from pirates?" (in 1994, to an islander in the Cayman Islands)
•"You managed not to get eaten, then?" (in 1998, to a student who had been trekking in Papua New Guinea)
•"If it has got four legs and it is not a chair, if it has got two wings and it flies but is not an aeroplane, and if it swims and it is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it." (at a 1986 World Wildlife Fund meeting)
Good old Prince Philip, may he live to a very old age so he can keep entertaining us with his priceless gaffes!

Hmmm...I don't think anyone in their right minds would wanna mess with these tough mamas now, would they?
Warning : They are heavily armed!
Damn! These are my kind of women, for sure!
Great photo Kiwi!
Another 'domestic goddess'! I wonder where I can get some gloves like that? I would look at lot more glamorous wearing them when cleaning my house!

Not as Flat as the Boobs on most of the Women you call Beautiful.
If you think you are not posting Porn then you need to think again matey, "Boobs and Fanny", are you sure you know what Porn is in all its disguises? I'm sure you don't, do you give any thought that some people (myself not included) could be offended by your pictures, that Minors are seeing what you post? that women don't want to see naked or half naked bodies spewed around on a thread that is for Beauty not Titillation? No, I thought not, and I'm sure you wont get the message that Kiwi and magic have been sending out to you, so carry on you ignorant uncouthed one.
Regards, Danny
PS, Why don't you start your own thread and see just how many people post on it? you could call it "Spiders Sluts" or something like that, just so people know where you are coming from you understand.
Well said Danny. I couldn't have put it any better myself! Mr. Spidersandsnakes seems to be a bit of an authority on what exactly constitutes 'porn'. I wonder why that is?!
-
Now that what a Beautiful Woman looks like, fully clothed as well.
Regards, Danny
Danny is that attractive lady 'MISSES BIGDAN' by any chance?
She's one of the best looking and most dignified women on here.

I still stand my what i said, and it is my question for Jimmy not yours. I think you are getting a bit carried away here with the slave stuff, I too have arthritis in my fingers.
There are different forms of arthritis, and it usually gets worse the older you get. My mum has it in her knees and shoulders and she's in agony some days. All I was saying was that you shouldn't be expecting so many things from Jimmy when we have no idea what his health is like. I'm not getting carried away at all. I have great admiration and respect for Jimmy, from the way you talk you don't seem to. Would you seriously be that rude if you ever met him? I don't think so.
-
I stand by what i said, Jimmy is lazy. He has been talking about doing a new solo album for some time now. My next question would be, what about a Davy Graham tribute cd with various guest singers and musicians.
Jimmy Page is not your slave. He's 67 now and can do whatever the hell he likes as far as I'm concerned. If Jimmy does have arthritis in his hands I would exhibit a little bit more compassion when talking to him, not demanding things from him. We don't know how much pain he's in.
Like someone else has mentioned, I would ask about his time at art college and whether he still has any of his work from back them, and whether he still does any art now.
I would also ask him about his personal art collection, and what draws him to a particular artist.
-
To me, feminine beauty is associated with beauty as portrayed in Pre-Raphaelite art like this, and not the trashy soft porn that is endlessly posted on here! I'm sure Mr. Jimmy Page would agree with me.
My personal favourite, the tragic heroine, The Lady of Shalott:

Anyone recognise this icon?
She achieved something which women during her time could only dream of doing and I regard her as gutsy, with quite a bit of spunk and character!
Amelia Earhart - a great addition Kiwi!
Another great female icon, Emily Pankhurst.
-
I do not consider a woman to be "beautiful" on the basis of physical appearance or skimpy outfits.
Excellent point Kiwi, I couldn't agree with you more.
A good example for me would Diane Fossey who dedicated her life doing something constructive like helping to save an endangered species, rather than prancing around in bikinis!

I think ladies of a bygone era have a certain 'je nais se qua'.
Who said 'men' were the first ones to get to the moon?!
I know all men like the swim suit section of a beauty contest:

Hi Magic!
I got into "Witchcraft" in the first place thanks to Swede and Rock N' Rolling Man! Those two have excellent music tastes!
This forum has taught me to become open minded too and go beyond 60's and 70's stuff! And yep! "The Alchemist" is one hell of an awesome album! You should get it and I recommend "Firewood" too! These are albums by this really cool Swedish band "Witchcraft".
Hi Kiwi
Oh I see Witchcraft is the band, Alchemist is the name of the album! That was a pretty daft mistake to make!!
I'll be sure to check out the albums you mentioned on You Tube.
-
After 4 months of literally waiting in agony, I FINALLY managed to purchase these :
I've given both the albums a couple of spins and while both are just great, I prefer "The Alchemist" to "Firewood".
I guess (to me) it's because the guitar riffs are deadlier, the lyrics are even creepier and the Sabbath influence is more profound on "The Alchemist" in comparison to "Firewood".
Here are some of my favourite songs from "The Alchemist" :

Kiwi I really like The Alchemist songs you posted. They sound like a pretty great rock band to me. I guess I should be more open minded and listen to more 'modern' bands every now and then.

You could be 'Magic in the Hair the Second'!
Make me laugh!
