  1. I found a cheap and easy way to matrix a show. Play the soundboard on YouTube and try to sync up the audience source while it plays on Windows Media Player! Trying this with 1977/05/25. <edit> cheap, easy, and terrible. Now I'm trying it to White Summer/Black Mountain Side - Kashmir 1977/05/30, to much better results.
  2. Trampled Under Foot 1975/03/21. The funkiest of the funky. The grooviest of the groovy. I love this version!
  3. To stay on topic, listening to 1977/04/30 in preparation for a possible review.
  4. I heard about that matrix, and I sampled it on a certain mp3 database, and yeah, it wasn't too good. I read some notes from the maker and he didn't sound to confident in his own product either. I have the audience source saved somewhere in a folder, I haven't given it a listen in some time. About the footage, Jimmy never really started looking that bad to me until '79. At least in '77, he only looked bad in a certain light, by Knebworth, he looked like crap. My only real complaints about the footage of Seattle is the fact that the camera were generally allergic to Jones, focused to much on Jimmy, is comprised solely of close-ups, has cliché (even for '77) checkerboard wipes, and has those stupid freeze-frame images after (or even during, in the case of 'No Quarter') nearly every song.
  5. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. After my good friend Strider sent me a copy of 'Conquering Kingdome' I was finally able to hear it in lossless quality. Though I am curious, is there a decent matrix of the soundtrack and audience tape out there?
  6. I actually feel like this show gets picked on a bit too much. And I really like the NBFBM from this show, though I feel the camera focuses a bit too much on Robert for this song. Now I'm listening to all of Oakland 1970/09/02
  7. Funny, I was just watching that yesterday. Doesn't it feel kind like it goes on forever though? to keep on topic, I'm listening to Organ Solo/Thank You 1971/08/22
  8. Thanks! That's mostly the version I have too. Mine is made up of disc 1 of EVSD's 'Just Can't Be Satisfied' and the rest is 'Coherence'. I used to have disc 3 of the Winston remaster, but that was too cloudy sounding for my taste, though I gave disc 1 of the DADGAD remaster a listen and it's pretty damn good! btw listening to Heartbreaker 1971/08/07
  9. Or as I call it, the 'I Don't Ever Want It To End Story'! XD To keep on topic, currently sapcing out to the Noise Solo 1977/06/27. Been listening to this whole show today. After I gather my thoughts from it, I might post a review or something.
  10. OtHaFA 1975/03/17,19, 20. Am I the only one who wishes Jimmy had continued to expand the outro like he did on the 17th and 19th?
  11. Poo, I wanted to hear your thoughts on the last ever performance of Immigrant Song. Oh well, I look forward to the Seattle review then!
  12. I look forward to a possible review from you of 1973/01/18!
  13. Ha, I'm listening to the No Quarter from that show right now!
  14. Sick Again 1975/03/17. EVSD's 'Haven't We Met Somewhere Before?'. Has a decent matrix of the SBD and AUD tape been made yet?
  15. The very underrated White Summer/Black Mountain Side 1977/07/17.
  16. Learning that one of the August '77 Chicago shows was gonna be 'all request' themed, and knowing that it never got to/never will happen.
