June 7, 1977 Madison Square Garden via EVSD's Madison Sound Boogie soundboard.
My lord, this is an almost perfect "Kashmir"...except for Jimmy's cock-up at the end. Even still, I put it in my Top 10 Kashmirs of all-time.
Here's a matrix I just made of No Quarter from that show! My personal favorite '77 NQ currently available in soundboard form.

Just for fun I made my own matrix of 1975/02/12. This is NOT the same as Bluecongo's matrix. Im not trying to step on anyone's toes I just wanted to see how this would turn out if I did it my way.

Either Greensboro 77 or Atlanta 73. Judging by the shows surrounding it plus it being Bonzo's birthday there's no doubt in my mind that this had to have been a hot one. As for Atlanta '73, its the first show of the '73 US tour and it has the first performances of No Quarter and that sweet Heartbreaker/Whole Lotta Love combo.

In My Time of Dying....how I wish they had never done it live. I alternate gritting my teeth to endure it to keep the 'entire gig experience' or, more often than not, i just skip it. Or is this some kind of heresy?
It's not one of my favorites either. I usually skip the drum solos unless I'm going for a full show experience, but a lot of people do that so I'm not sure of that counts. I used to skip the long jam songs like No Quarter and Dazed but eventually I stopped skipping them. I also used to skip SIBLY but I like that song more now too. I skip Stairway a lot but that's only cuz I'm not always in the mood to hear it plus if its a show where I know that Jimmy botches the solo. I sometimes skip the '73 and '75 Rock and Rolls.

Heartbreaker/Whole Lotta Love 1973/07/24. An absolutely incendiary performance.

No Quarter 1977/06/07. IMO the high point of the whole show. Jonesy's outro out of Nutrocker leading back into the rest of the song is beautiful.

So you're all about that bass...no treble?
oh, it's no treble at all. ;D
Nah but the first few songs have plenty of it and the tape on the whole has pretty much no bottom end to it.
Staying on course, I'm currently watching Dazed 1975/05/24

listening to Seattle '77. The show sounds a lot better when you apply a lot of bass to the recording.

September 19, 1970 Madison Square Garden...both afternoon and evening shows. The afternoon show, as good as it is, is mere appetizer for the Electric Extravaganza that is the evening concert...a balls-out blazer from beginning to end, with encores to die for.
10 bucks says the next bootleg of these shows is gonna be titled "Electric Extravaganza".

Finally getting around to giving Bath '70 a serious listen. It's truly an excellent show. The sound on the better source is rough but listenable. If those multitracks do exist they seriously need to be released already. I'm on WIaWSNB now.

Considering that it seems to me that the 'new' soundboards that get released usually pop up (or get announced) around this time of year, it seemed appropriate to ask...
Whaddya think it's gonna be next time? '75 or '77?
Probably '75. We're at a very interesting time because if EVSD doesnt have any shows from before 1975/02/12, there's a strong chance that something unheard like Houston '75 or a really good show like 1975/03/12 or the second night in Seattle or one of the LA shows could come out. Also maybe San Diego which I've heard is supposed to be a really good show. Now '77 on the other hand, all that's left from the 2nd leg is Birmingham (which could make a good matrix), Baton Rouge(!), Greensboro(!!), the other NYC dates (!!!) and LA(!!!!). Tampa could be released as a bonus disc. Anything EVSD releases within these parameters would be an absolute treat.

Well...it's been a year since the Fort Worth '77 soundboard came out.
Now, to the good folks at EVSD: where the hell is the NEXT soundboard release?!?!?!
funny I've been wondering that for a whole year

I'm a few days early but I brought up the evening show on 1970/09/19 for a listen. On WLL now. I haven't listened to the whole thing in like two years. It's a great show but I only listen to it on rare occasions to keep it sounding special to my ears.

Judging by OK City and the first night in Chicago, I'd believe in Jimmy on his claim of not touching a guitar.
What show or live song are you listening to now?
in Led Zeppelin Live

Both the soundboard and the main audience source I used had cuts in different places. For the soundboard's cut I just made a hard cut into only the audience source brought up to level with the rest and for the audience tape's cut I patched in the Artie source. As far as the mixing I lowered the volume of the audience tape by -7 decibels. The only times I keep the audience tape either as loud or nearly as loud as the soundboard is if the audience tape is of exceptionally good and clean sound quality, like the newly released tape for 1979/08/11 or the matrices I've done of a couple of Page & Plant shows.
