  1. Rest In Peace Basketball legend Bill Walton aged 71 from Cancer..

Could have been the greatest NBA center of all time if it weren't for constant foot injuries..

UCLA footage of him is unbelievable...possibly the greatest college Basketball player of all time.

  2. Rest In Peace, Ralph Cirella (58) - Longtime Howard Stern Show regular, frequent caller, antagonist and stylist, died on December 5th, after his heart stopped during a medical procedure.

He had been recently diagnosed with Lymphoma.

Howard Stern,  obviously shocked and deeply saddened by his close friend's passing, gave a touching tribute and dedicated Wednesday's show to his memory.

Rest In Peace Ralph .... Hey Now....!

also Rest In Peace to all listed above..

According to this interview, they tried to get Jimmy play on the new Ozzy Osbourne album. Other players appaearing on the album are Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton.

    https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/new-ozzy-osbourne-album-to-feature-pearl-jams-mike-mccready-queens-of-the-stone-ages-josh-homme/

Chad went on to say that "the English royalty of guitar players" has been recruited to guest on Osbourne's new album. "Tony Iommi and Ozzy have never collaborated outside of BLACK SABBATH," he said. "Tony sent us a bunch of riffs and we took what we thought was the best of 'em, which was fucking great. So Andy's on the bass doing fucking great — the bass on the song is amazing. And Tony sent us the riffs — files; he's in England — and we played to it. It's fucking got everything. It's got all the stuff that you would want. Ozzy loves it. And so he's on that track. Then Eric Clapton plays a fucking wah-wah CREAM-type solo. We're, like, 'Eric, can you solo on this song? Wah-wah, please. Eric, what do you think about this, with the wah-wah?' Because that's his fucking thing. And so he's soloing all over this other track. Then Jeff Beck is on two songs. We tried to get Jimmy Page [LED ZEPPELIN], we tried to get the holy trinity, but I don't think Page plays anymore too much, unfortunately. But Mike McCready's [PEARL JAM] on a track. Josh Homme, my neighbor from QUEENS [OF THE STONE AGE], solos on a track. And then Zakk Wylde [BLACK LABEL SOCIETY] is on the record as well, all over it. So it's like if you're a guitar player, [it's] pretty fucking good."

I guess this confirms what we discussed here for a long time. Page is not in any form to play anything substantial on the guitar anymore. Sad.

Tony Iommi and Ozzy Osbourne did collaborate outside of Black Sabbath, on a track called "Who's Fooling Who". This was on Tony Iommi's 2000 solo album entitled "Iommi".. so Chad is wrong about that.

.. and just because Chad "thinks Page doesn't play anymore much" .. well that confirms nothing..

I really did not see any more than usual momentum hit after QB threw ball.  But I suppose I should like the result as it keeps the Bills farther up.   And Chase, it took a long time to throw that flag.  I say it’s crap.  Shula and Landry used to get those calls.  And why is Billy boy hanging around?  For the records?  He has to know he is not going far with this team now

The Saints finally showed up on defense.

Shula and Landry? lol.  If you say so. I don't know. You're much more a football historian than me Rick. The Refs are calling late hits all around the league..and to me that was a late hit..

I think Bill's still around because he's one of the best Coaches of all time,  he loves what he does, he gets to work with his son on one of the great sports franchises ... and the pay is pretty good too.

I doubt he gives a crap about records...but if he does that's ok too.

Jets got screwed on pick 6 called back on BS roughing call.  Changed entire game

come on  Rick ...  if Josh Allen got clobbered like that and it wasn't called you'd be losing it.

  8. Rest In Peace F-Troop star Larry Storch aged 99. Passed in his sleep. Followed him on FB.  He lived life to the fullest.  Very upbeat and positive person..

    from fb

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you the news our beloved Larry passed away in his sleep overnight. We are shocked and at a loss for words at the moment. Please remember he loved each and every one of you and wouldn’t want you to cry over his passing. He is reunited with his wife Norma and his beloved F Troop cast and so many friends and family.

I guess Golden State didn't need Kevin Durant to win this title. Still, it should be fun watching the various talking head shows to see how the Warriors haters will try to slight them on winning this ring....

it's been the opposite from what I've seen so far. Lots of ragging on Tatum.. He didn't have a very good series, but The Celtics wouldn't have made it to the Finals without him.

One of Boston's problems was holding on to the ball. They acted like it was painful to touch the basketball.

yes. Too many turnovers and not enough offensive rebounds.

And now it is 82.3% (181-39).

Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors. I know some Boston fans who will be very upset. But chef free will be happy and I am happy the Warriors added another championship to the state of California's total.

It will be interesting to see which teams that were in the playoffs can sustain their success over the coming years. Golden State, Boston, and Milwaukee seem safe bets to remain title contenders.

The others? Who knows? Depends on what the draft and free agency bring.

Yes congratulations Golden State fans.. Those last 3 games were painful to watch. They're so fast and were hitting everything..  And yes another title for California.

Don't forget 5 of those 17 Lakers titles were as the Minneapolis Lakers..

So the Minneapolis / L.A. Lakers will remain tied with the Boston Celtics at 17 Titles for now... lol.. yeah I'm a little wounded.. wait till next year..

How you been Chase?  i never doubted that Boston would win the East especially after the 76ers went with Harden.  I had Boston and GS in a wager to make the finals months ago. I only wish I had wagered more.  I have a small wager on Boston to win the whole thing. Which they may. But I have to confess I cheer for GS because I like Steph Curry.  And I always loved Rick Barry, a guy who never got enough credit.  It should be a fight to the finish unless GS has problems?  I would expect them to win tonight at the least.  They better if they wish to make it a series.  I think its the old format, 2-3-2?  That saves them many flight miles. 5 1/2 hour flight to the East coast. So I would expect the next 3 are in Boston.  Golden state must win tonight to make this a a series.  Of course they are good on the road, you have to be to be a team that makes the finals.

Remember this Chase, the AFC East is ours now.

Hi Rick. All is well here ...I hope you're well too.

Golden State seem to be shrugging off the Celtics win the other night .... (well Green is) and that's not a very good idea. This team is incredible.. They can go on a run before anyone knows what hit them.

Paul is right ... the format is back to 2-2-1-1-1.  That's why there's so much time between games. I was surprised with the change.. not sure if it was like that last year  and it wouldn't have mattered much in 2020.. the bubble year.

As far as The Patriots / Bills ... AFC East ... we shall see. I will say most people here seem to be pretty confused by what Bill Bellichick is planning.  you could be right.. The Patriots weren't the same after the bi-week... it killed their momentum.

But in the meantime I'm going to enjoy this Celtics team..

Lebron never repeated, let alone three-peat.

The Heat won back to back titles in 2012 - 2013... unfortunately.

These Celtics are deep and young.

Good for them and all that. But even though my girlfriend is a Boston fan I cannot cheer for the Celtics as I do not want them passing the Lakers in total titles.

I get it. But, I could never root for a team Lebron James is involved with... unless of course they're playing against a team Pat Riley is involved with..

  15. It's been 12 years since the last NBA Finals appearance for the Boston Celtics.

It's been a tough road .... through the Nets, Bucks and Heat. This is going to be good.. and what a turnaround from the first half of the season.
