This isn't today, but lastnight I went to see my boyfriend's band Johnny Valentine take part in a battle of the bands, and they won!

...By 8 votes to 7. There was hardly anyone there.

But oh well, it's the principal of the thing, isn't it!

They put the second place band through too, but they were SHITE!

The only other half-decent band on was this one called Otters Pocket...they didn't get through. I went up to the singer half-pissed going "you were robbed! ROBBED I SAY!!"

Then my band's got a gig in Manchester on the 14th so obviously I will be at that.

Aside from that, I got my boyfriend Buddy Guy tickets for Christmas. I told him he could take anyone, but he wants to take me anyway. Aaaw.

Anyway, that's in June, a few days before Radiohead.
