Because "Evolution is Timing" sold over a 1000 copies (they told) and was quickly sold out, EVSD just released a new version with a new box cover: Jimmy with his double neck Gibson in 1977 wearing his questionable hat (although I like the picture). Just 2.380 Yen

The price setting is, I believe 75 USD. I'm sure you know one of the distributors, just check 😎
I've just seen an Eelgrass hard copy for only € 67,- on disc Japan. Compared to € 485,- for a EVSD hard copy on yahoo auctions....OK, you don't get the fancy packaging but the music is the same, being a digital clone.

Care to share the recordings?
Can't be true: didn't you read Bonzo_fan's comment? BTW. it's Bloomington, not Minneapolis.

Yeah, I have it in digital, but I'm hunting it down on silvers. I know that EV did a really good release of the show with "Conspiracy Theory", but it looks like it's sold out on Air Raid.
The original EVSD 2004 "Conspiracy Theory" (triple gatefold sleeve) is for sale on Yahoo. Just ¥ 17.800 (approx. $ 165.-)

Yep, sure is still on Dime!

It definitely sounds a bit clearer, but it's not like we're listening to BBH or LTTE. Still a decent recording and the remaster did it justice.
I guess you're underestimating the importance of that show. Bath 1969 (incl. Led Zeppelin) drew approx. 30.000 people. In 1970 they were widely accepted by English press and fans. Until that point it was mainly the States where they achieved success, the festival was a turning point in their career. It is said the festival attracted some 150,000 people and by the time Led Zeppelin took the stage it was grown to 200,000 people. BTW. it is also said an excellent soundboard recording exists.

Nice! Enjoy!

I've heard of using proxy services is a good thing for out of state people. Would this be the same situation?
Why would it? You don't get your package delivered through the internet, but physically at your door! And the postman won't deliver unless you pay.

I've wanted to get stuff from Yahoo for awhile now. Mainly because they have a lot of good releases for cheap buy now prices. I've looked at shipping prices and its not at all bad. Is it still a good option to get bootlegs?
As I said before: beware of customs. It's a big company, so they do everything by the book: they tell the value of the package on the outside, so customs can easily see and decide whether you have to pay import-duties or not. AirRaid says it's a gift, value 1000 (sometimes 2000) yen.

WRT Air Raid, if you buy multiple CD's, do you still get charged $25 P and P for each...i'm thinking of ordering a number of moonchild releases
Nope, that's not true. There's - of course - a maximum weight he can send for this $ 25.- He always states "Gift" on the package and that's a big plus when it comes to your door. I've ordered 5 Moonchild titles (twice) and both times p&p were $ 23.- making it (55+23)/5 = $ 15.50 a piece
With Yahoo Auctions you have to pay p&p (last time $ 21.-) and sometimes you have to collect your package at the postoffice to pay customs.
Still waiting for "Evolution is Timing 2" to arrive. Until now it sat me back: Item Price 3,980yen, Buyee Service Fee 300yen; Payment Fee 200yen; Standard Plan 500yen = Total 4,980yen = € 43,99 Now adding another 2420yen = € 20,99: international shipping fee 2200yen and from seller to Buyee 220yen
Grand total: 7400yen or € 64,98 With AirRaid it would be $ 48.- plus $ 23.- p&p = $ 71.- / € 65,30) but when I've got to pay customs... AirRaid would have bee the cheaper option.

As I've got "UVKD" I got messed up as both gatefolds are called "Ultra Violent Killer Droog" as you can see in the photo. So I expected the SBD (blue-ish gatefold) to be called "UVKD" and the AUD "HC".
Did you ask for a specific number? When I order at AirRaid's I ask for a specific number, just for my fun. Most of the time they can deliver. For "Snowblind" 19 & 20 edition 2017 I asked for no. 61 (my year of birth).
-
Yeah, I'm sorry, my wrong: "Hellfire Club" is the SBD.
"UVKD" got both

Mine should be here by the end of the week, along with two of my other "most wanted" boots ("Hellfire Club" and "Snowblind" (3CD version)).
Why didn't you opt for "Ultra Violent Killer Droog"? it's a bit more expensive (I guess) but it's got AUD and SBD...
"Hellfire Club" is just AUD.
"Snowblind" is the march 20th 2012 edition? With the train? I'm still anxious to get my hands on the 2012 9cd edition. Just because I loooooove the the 2 slipcases with the train in red/orange and blue.

Interesting but certainly just a coincidence. Maybe because they were in somewhat oddball places rather that at MSG or the LA Forum etc.
Oddball? This was the 6th consecutive concert at "Dallas Memorial Auditorium". Of which the last 3 are SBD, so, maybe....😉 just maybe...

I still can't believe the '77 one is missing. I posted on another thread: The world's biggest band start their first tour for more than 2 years and nobody taped it?!! It must be out there.
5-25-1975 was the last one, so actually it's just a a bit less: 22 months and 1 week...😜😂

After one month, 'Evolution is Timing' already receives a vol.2 companion set. Not (as I suggested) 'Resolution is Rhyming' 15 CD box, culled fro the classic audience tapes (Winterland, Paris 69, Montreux, LA Forum 70, Berkeley, Tokyo 71,...) but this time entirely focussed on studio outtakes. Hopefully another 25USD bargain😉
Snatched it for just € 35,- ex P&P. But the leaflet shows another gem: Mike Millard's Lost and Found BOX

And a very poor mix I would say. Most of source transitions are amateurly done, making these shows barely listenable.
Having TCOLZ, EVSD and Magic Bus, I would say Magic Bus - "Alpha and Omega" is the better option from these three, although TCOLZ is nice because of the complete tape transfers: strictly source 1 OR strictly source 2. No mixes!

Well, if that is the case, could you ask them why they always put too much EQ on their releases?
No Use Gneco, Live In the Fairly Tale...releases ruined by deliberately bad EQ. Why?
I must say the last Tarantura2000 title "Bath of the Blues" is very listenable and not over EQ-ed at all. (that is "the Final Mixdown", not "The Raw Transfer").

Already released a few weeks ago:
A few weeks? 😂😂 75 weeks is my guess. I ordered mine august 26th 2018, received from AirRaid September 4th.
It appears to be some bug on the AirRaid site: every “new” link in yellow gives you the same photo of this set.

Where have you guys been? That’s how much these things have always cost.
Deus Ex Machina, How the East Was Won, the soundboard revolution titles...
There is always a $100ish “standard” version, a $300ish “deluxe” version, and a $500ish “super deluxe” version.
Being shocked at the prices means you probably also don’t realize/appreciate the fact that people are spending this money and sharing these gems with you for freeeee.
You're absolutely right! "Deus Ex Machina" numbered promo edition (3/17 and 3/21 1975 both dates in SBD quality) sat me back 56.000 yen (¥ 61.200 / € 500,- / $ 550.- incl. p&p).
That's a lot of money but I wanted the box so much... And a few times I've paid in the $ 250.- to $ 300.- range for sth special (for me) and on the other hand I snatched "The Dinosaur In Motion" (3/17 and 3/21 1975 both dates in AUD quality) on Yahoo Auction for only ¥ 8.750 (€ 75,-)
