Have you made your house coldproof?
Oh yeah. Storm windows, multi-pane gas type; solid construction, all small entrance points sealed, and a furnace and fireplace which would make the Heat Miser jealous.
It may be -15 outside but a toasty 70 inside.

Snow on Friday, then more snow Sunday morning. I love winter, the cold, the snow. Keep it coming, my towns economy needs the snow.
WOO HOO!!!

I wonder what kind of letter Trump will leave for his successor?
GHWB was a very interesting man, a Man of All Seasons so to speak as he did so much, yet never sought the spotlight. I always felt sorry for him in 92' even though I voted Clinton as I believe Bush got the shaft due to Reagan's policies coming around to bite Bush in the ass.
A good man who lived a good life and the last of the true Republicans. RIP Mr. President

yep .. I bought mine in the summer of 77.. maybe a little later.
The irony is that there are plenty of times Eddie Van Halen hasn't sounded all that great live either, like he had a broken hand... It happens, they're human.
Drugs and Drink can make the all time greats sound not so good.
The main problem is his big mouth.
Very true as I can attest to this fact. Saw them in 84' in fact and Eddie was so wasted he could not play for shit. It happens to the best of them.

I think Autumn & SamO are right on with their posts. Both are great bands and I too like both.
Why is there always a need to compare & rank instead of simply enjoy?

Whitey Bulger dead at 89. RIP?
I believe they beat him to death so, bummer?
The man was a stone cold killer, absolutely ruthless and killed a hell of a lot more people than Manson ever did. Then again, maybe he had a poor upbringing? His mother did not love him enough? Poor fella, it really didn't have to be like this. Nope, no sirree Bob.
The O2 In Retrospect...

I believe it is disingenuous to write Page off as a has been or not capable of excellent playing live due to age or whatnot. Unless Page has an undisclosed physical malady such as arthritis or other structural issues, all he needs is practice, nothing more, nothing less. Jimmy could easily play at his 73' or 98' level right now (again barring undisclosed health issues) if he commits to a diligent practice routine daily. As a guitar player myself it is not rocket science, you practice, you gig, you don't get on stage wasted, etc. Page may be 74 but Segovia was playing publicly into his 80's and many of Page's contemporaries are still going strong (Beck, Springsteen, Lofgren, Blackmore) performing in top form.
Unless Jimmy has a physical ailment, the only thing preventing Jimmy from jumping on stage or into a studio and play at peak level is Jimmy himself.
Page's playing at the O2 was reserved but excellent, he played it safe. If they had gone on and toured it is very, very likely he would have been back to 96' form and possibly 98' form very quickly, just as long as he stayed away from the temptations of the road.
