Getting emotional over a Tom Petty song was definitely not something I ever thought I'd be doing, but there we are. ...but I'm not complaining either.

The way I went from not knowing a single Tom Petty song to recognizing Breakdown from the first few notes so fast it's ridiculous. That's it; that's the post.

I recently started listening to him and the Heartbreakers and...oh man. I - I don't know what it is exactly, but there's something about him and him's music that my heart can't get enough of. 🥰🩵 I think my favorites so far are Hometown Blues, Strangers in the Night (which my Amazon Music spells as 'Strangered' for some reason), and Anything That's Rock N Roll.

...but still glad to be here. Lysari/Lys. Xe/Xem. I'm a relatively new fan of Led Zeppelin; like, I've known of them for years but only started listening to them recently. I don't have a favorite song just yet - mostly I'm just kinda enjoying the ride for now. My music taste in general is more chaotic than you can possibly imagine. Some of my other favorites include Green Day, The Dollyrots, Transvision Vamp, Wendy James, Evanescence, The Vogues, Enya, Laufey, Cigarettes After Sex, Leith Ross, beabadoobee, Beach House, The Cars, The Velvet Underground, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, The Cranberries, The Romantics, Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Van Halen, and REO Speedwagon (but I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of others). Things I like in general include Drew Carey, reading, writing, drawing, gaming, and musicals.
