Thank you for sharing this link, PlanetPage. Jimmy looked so classy at the press confrence. I am so happy to see real pictures from it. :)

Ross also shared a few new pictures today from over the past few days.

  2. Aen my dear, thank you for posting this here!

I saw it today and thought it was just a stunning photo of him!

Jimmy is still one of the most beautiful and photogenic people ever born, the camera loves him and the eye is drawn to him. indeed!

Ahh -- You have not see this, yet. Cookie just posted this on Led Zeppelin News by Ross today.

Here's my favorite of the photos of the two magicians.

Also, I think this gallery needs a fainting couch. Here's a nice Victorian one.

I love those pictures with William Burroughs. They are among my favorites. I love that scarf.

Ooh, that's a nice one, thankyou. Into the collection it goes, although the fact that I'm now completely forgetting what I've seen before and what I haven't is making me worry that my harmless little hobby may be getting out of hand...

Yeah, I definitely had the idea that when they went into their long hiatus after Robert's car crash was when he really started falling down the rabbit hole.

Don't worry. It's very easy to forget oneself with Jimmy. ;) I think he was before Robert.

  4. "Serene dissipation or dissipated serenity" - I like that. Very Jimmy.

Melody Maker interview from 1974, I think. It's a lovely set:

They are March 1976. They pictures in the pen stripe suit were taken by Kate Simon and my scan of his book. They are his interviews for Presance and if you read the bottom of the book you will see that.

  5. For what it's worth the shirt Jimmy is holding was not worn onstage on February 3, 1975, but was worn onstage for other dates that week. If I had to guess I'd say they're waiting for the limos to arrive prior to a show that week.

Its worth something to me. Thank you as always.

  6. I've had a chance to check my files and yes, Jimmy did wear that same jacket to the after-show reception hosted by Atlantic Records at the Penn Plaza Club on February 3, 1975. Other attendees included Andy Warhol, Keith Moon, Joe Walsh, William Burroughs and Amanda Lear.

This recent photo of the Plaza Hotel shows there is a match to the light post in the 1975 photo:

    Thank you for posting this.

  7. Going from memory, I believe it's Lionel Bart and that they are standing outside the Plaza Hotel in New York (February 1975).

Thank you. I think you're right, Steve, now that I remember pictures of him from Richard's wedding. Jimmy's jacket also conincides with the party over Madison Square Garden that you have clippings from on facebook. I think it may this same day.

  8. :birthday::cheer:

Birthday time again...this time to aen27, Pagette of Massachusetts. May you have a White Poppy Suit of a Celebration Day, aen27! Woot! Woot!

Just think...while you were being born, I was watching this:

    And this:

    Happy birthday! Cheers! :toast:

    Happy B-Day aen27.... :toast:

I missed both of these yesterday somehow, thank you!

Yes, Strider, I love knowing that they were in the States at LA Forum the night I was born. Jimmy also wore one of my favorite of his tops.
