Thanks for all this great information, Blocoboy - it's very much appreciated!

What a great thread - thanks for sharing all of this, Knebby and everyone else!

In London a couple summers ago, with Bonzo's drums in the background!
Welcome to the forum!
That's an interesting photo you posted - where was it taken? Was it the Hard Rock Cafe? I am intrigued to see a Zildjian cymbal on the kit, as I thought that Bonzo always used Paiste cymbals. This is probably the wrong thread to raise that point, but seeing as the photo is here ... !

Thanks for the nice comments, Dzldoc and Dancin' Days
Lovely photos, Electrophile.
Reswati - how you doin'?! Greetings to you and the Ents!
Al - you have a beautiful family - not sure I like the look of those crayfish/crawfish/shrimps/strange fishy things with loads of legs and hard shell-thingummys/whatever they are, though!

No, doesn't look at all like him to me.
Agreed. I think it's a woman too.

Me, two nights ago, on holiday. I don't actually have a bald spot in my fringe, honest - I'm fiddling with my hair because it wouldn't sit properly!

None of you were forced to go into the thread. You chose to.
Actually Spats, I chose NOT to. I kept away from "your" thread because if I were to read any more of your self-pitying, never-ending, "for-God's-sake-change-the-record" whining, I swear I would throw something big and heavy through the nearest window. I just kept seeing "your" thread on the list of new posts, sighing to myself and wondering when it would all end. Well, at last it has, and that made me happy.
But now you are all over the board like an unpleasant rash, posting your repetitive whines about your love life anywhere you can - so maybe it would have been better to keep you contained in one place, so to speak. Ah well.
Just realised - this would have been better in the "Pet Peeves" thread. Sorry folks, - well, sort of.

THE SPATS THREAD IS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!
What she said ...
I don't often swear, let alone swear really badly, but ... THANK FUCK FOR THAT!

Classic Rock April 2009 issue (UK)
FWIW, I skimmed through this in my local Sainsbury's at the weekend. Unfortunately the words are by Mick Wall, and all of it directly lifted from his recent book. Nothing new in there, writing-wise, although I hadn't seen the photos of Jimmy with that bouffant hairdo before (as featured on the cover).
I didn't buy the magazine just because of the Mick Wall connection. Of the most recent publications, I much prefer the MOJO Classic magazine dedicated to 1969, much of it featuring Zeppelin.

You're very welcome, Amazonic, Moonmaid, PlanetPage and aen27!
They really are the most breathtaking photos aren't they? Just as I think Jimmy can't look any better - he does precisely that. He looks absolutely FANTASTIC.
WOW!

Some great new photos on Ross Halfin's site ... Jimmy with a new haircut and a nice leather jacket!

Maybe twins lol who's jay lenno? must be someone we dont get in the uk.
I'm in the UK and have heard of Jay Leno. I've never seen him on TV but he writes a column in the Sunday Times' "In Gear" section, on the subject of cars - the column's title is "Motormouth". All I recall of him is his photo - silver hair and an over-developed lower jaw, though

I just love this one of Robert and Alison

Hiya moffo
Assuming you've managed to unzip the file ...
I managed to unzip (extract the file) using WinRAR which is another unzipping program, then I dragged the file onto my desktop as ledzep45 suggested. However I was then struggling to add the font to Word, until I found this useful idiot's guide:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA010947421033.aspx
I had to save the font file onto my C: drive (I just stuck it in "My Documents") so that I could pull it into Word, but it worked a treat and I can now type in Kashmir font!
Hope this helps.

Bron Yr-Aur for me, definitely. That's what I wake up to every morning (my alarm clock has a dock for my iPod). It's a lovely, mellow, gentle song to wake up to.
Only trouble is, I keep dreaming that it's Jimmy sitting at the end of my bed, playing the song on an acoustic ... then dammit, I realise that it's the iPod every time!

Copy and paste this into Google Maps or Google Earth:
44°40'52.79"N 10°19'6.39"E
It's not exact, but ... is there a farming Bonham fan in rural Italy, I wonder?!

I am currently re-reading (for the umpteenth time) all the Harry Potter books, and enjoying them immensely! I just finished book 4 (Goblet of Fire) and am about to start The Order of The Phoenix.

Whoah - Eternal Light ... how spooky is that?!

I got it slightly wrong ... it's "squidgy" not "squishy" ... but it amounts to the same thing - YUM!

Rumors is and always will be one of my Favorite LP's.
Mine too! I'm intrigued to know, however - was the LP actually called "Rumors" in the US, with the US spelling? My UK copy is titled "Rumours".
Sorry, I probably have an unhealthy interest in spelling and grammar!

Apart from my two wonderful kids (who make me happy every single day) - today I derived great pleasure from eating a slice of "squishy chocolate log" (made to a Delia Smith recipe), with raspberries and fresh cream. It was heaven on a plate!
