  1. Soooooo.... how many of you ladies had dirty thoughts when you saw this pic?

    Raise your hand. 3.gif

    Hahahaha...caught me out Roxie

Btw, the screen grabs from TSRTS are a-mazing, thanks girls

  2. I've been listening to IMTOD again today...and, after all what I have read on this thread, what I hear could be "I'll touch Jesus" or "Oh, my Jesus" the first time round and then before "dyin'...cough" "Oh, Georgina"

It's enough to drive me mad

  3. Pre - O2 publicity pic of Jason & kit, with double pedal clearly visible. Fair enough, this one is clear, not yellow like the one on the night, but this is obviously the set-up he was going for, & why bother with a double pedal for a photo shoot if you don't use it normally?

This is a promotional shot for Ludwig when Jason re-joined them. He uses this set up in Foreigner.

  4. Here' s the news, in summary...John Henry Bonham is dead, as has been pointed out previously on this very thread. They were actually onstage with him.All this" I'm a drummer you know.." stuff looks a little over-assertive[and, paradoxically, insecure but the 2 traits do go together, I'm told,]to say the least. He drummed. You didn't. He did it his way. Cue Paul Anka...

Totally agree with you. While watching the clips from O2, Jason without any doubt in my mind did his dad proud. And as far as him not being the same person as his dad, neither are RP, JP & JPJ the same as they were back in the day. So Jason's having a different style of playing than his mentor only makes him fit right in with the band. Lets be honest and face the realities of life. Every one matures as the years pass & with that there is always change. Aside from the void left with BONZO's passing, they, as Plant stated in 1 of his interviews, you can't go back to what is was, So I say forget going back, it will never happen, just move forward. To me it looked liked they were love'n it, being on stage and jamming together. As for Jason's double bass petal.......... I could give a shit if he used 2 sticks in each hand to get the sound he wants!!!!! What ever it takes so be it. Why the fuss????

Very well put, epsecially what I have highlighted. Can you imagine the enormity on Jason's shoulders as he stepped on that stage. Imo, he came, he played, he conquered. I don't know if this has been pointed out before, but at the end of Rock & Roll, his right drumstick breaks in half! He gave it his all that night and he should be praised for his talent and what he brought to the show.

  5. ok here I am......with my newest grandchild, Juleah, born jan 6th, 2008. I have three and one on the way--guess what the due date is-----9/11/08. Is that crazy or what.

Lovely photo Katy, the proud grandma. How adorable they are at that age :D

  6. Here in the UK, it snowed at Easter for the first time in years. And it's the deepest snow we have had for a while. This is my youngest pictured experiencing her first time playing in the snow. Her face was full of wonder the whole time :D

  7. I am also surprised by this, I knew he used one in the passed, but i read a story about how he was making his bass pedal really tight in rehearsal, and then making it looser at gigs, so it would feel easier/faster. i thought that was because he was going to use one bass. He has said he doesnt have his fathers foot, but I think he bangs with his hands almost as hard. He sounded awesome on For you Life and The Song remains the same, as far as the bass goes...

Harder, apparently. Although, he has always said he doesn't have the finesse that his father had.

  8. Thanks. I like them too. I've been wearing them more often becuase I think I'm turning into my mom, LOL. My mom SWEARS that she sees better with her glasses on. Even though I love wearing contacts, I'm beginning to think she's right.

I have just started wearing glasses for reading...I was a little mortified when I found that I couldn't read teeny print anymore. I hit 40, then the need for glasses. Jeez, it's all downhill from here

  9. I dont know about her relationship with Scott, but he was on stage rocking out last night with the rest of the band, and if they were engaged, then if theyre not i doubt he would have been there :)

he was also rocking a damn nice guitar with the dharma "pearl station" logo on it, for anyone who watches LOST... i was impressed :) - but then again, im a geek :P

Sounds as though you had a fab night, btw meant to say the photo was great!
