Also, Please vote for me in the Fishman Acoustic Challenge. :)

    I'm currently # 9.

The top 15 will compete for a Fishman PA system in October, in Atlanta.

This will be very handy for future solo electric/acoustic shows. Please share this with friends. One email address per entry, but if you have multiple email addresses, please vote from each of them, if you can.

My job was recently eliminated, so I've been gigging this summer.

thanks for your help and time,

  2. I believe these were all released in Cardboard (Long Boxes) around 1985, if memory serves me right.

It was right before the Beatles catalog was released on CD in the US (which was 1986).

I'm sure someone will come along soon with the answer(s).

Until then, perhaps Google Led Zeppelin Long Box cd release dates, check ebay, amazon, allmusic.com, etc..

  3. The Houston Summit was the site of some great concerts back in the day, including Led Zeppelin in 1977. Unfortunately, my Mom thought I was too young at the time and would not let me see Zeppelin with my older brothers. (Looking back, at 12, I was just a bit young. B) ) Well, the Summit is now a "House of the Holy" if you want to call it that, as in Lakewood Church. It's a bummer really, because it was a great concert venue, in my opinion. There was a lot of wacky weed smoked in that building, let me tell you. :D Now, it's home to an egomaniac, his snotty wife and their followers. (Sorry to any of you Osteen fans out there.)

    And, Lakewood Church now:

Yep. Nice venue it was (the summit in Houston).

  4. All I can say is .... Wow!!!

I'm overwhelmed. It was the best concert I've ever been too (and I've seen a lot of shows over the years).

The band was incredible. They performed some of the very best material (mostly from the first few albums, while drawing from some portions of the latter).

What Deborah J said above is true. Jason looked directly at her and said hello, Deborah". I couldn't believe it at first and asked her, "Did he just say what I think he said?" and Deborah said, yes. :)

    Very cool, indeed.

So many highlights in this one. I don't want to ruin it for anyone else (and will post more later).

I have a ton of photos as well (and will post them soon).

In the meantime, here's one of me and Tony.

He is probably the best rounded guitarist to play Led Zeppelin (outside of JP himself).

It was great to see him again after many years. :)

If you live anywhere in the US and haven't seen this show yet, go buy and plane ticket and go see this one!!! This tour cannot be missed!!!
