  1. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that was confused!

I really noticed it watching the Led Zeppelin DVDs one day. In Albert Hall they look very bright blue, but at Knebworth they look brown/hazel.

It's weird, though. Changing blue/green is kinda normal, but not really blue/brown...

Red stage lights reflecting on blue and green will render brown. ;)

  2. The worst thing is the whole look emulates prisoners! They wear their pants baggy and low because they aren't allowed to have belts so it makes the look even more disturbing. Nevermind when the pants are so low, they walk like they've ridden a horse for 5 hours

God forbid they have to hop a fence!!

  3. Maybe should be in Pet Peeves but, what's with the pants around the thighs and the fucking boxers hanging out? Is that what you aspire to? "Hello, I'm underware man. Hell, my pants are half off, surely you want a piece of this!" Are you kidding me?? I used to dress like Nikki Sixx, and I never in all my years thought that would be cooler than you!

  4. ^lol

My happy thing for today: it's 3:35, and I haven't really done a freakin' thing all weekend!

...though my clothes are in the washer and the dishes are in the dishwasher, you know. ;)

So your Monday will be a MONDAY! If you can wait. Though I doubt you can let it go a night!

I bet a fiver she'll be folding by 9pm!

  5. Just spoke with my mom. She's 84 years old and just got to see Topol's last and final performance as Tevia in Fiddler on the Roof. After 2500+ performances over 40 years, she caught the last one. She was thrilled! Her joy is my joy! Oy vey! :D

  6. Took my truck to the shop. Got the oil changed and everything inspected. Mechanic said I'll be needing front brake pads and a differential flush soon, but not urgently. No additional work required at this time! Which is great, cause I'm friggin broke!

  7. Made me a little happy today just to get out, I wanted to get on the Disney Train to preview the new Christmas Carol Movie but the line had an hour wait and the humidity was just too much for me to take.

Glad you could get out bro. Sorry circumstances forced you to miss the preview. That sucks. I too have a love for Disney and Dickens. Angi and I will be thinking of you when it hits theaters our way! ;)

  8. When I was in 9th grade (1981), my friend Lance played me Badgeholders Only. I made a tape and played it to death, the copy of Paris Theater London I recorded off the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio program had long worn out. Then I got Blueberry Hill on vinyl. Then I met my friend Phil, who had a freakin milk crate full of Zeppelin boots. I spent that whole summer in his room taping his collection.

  9. :P

Scared of a jellyfish? Hell no!

    I've been to Big Surf

And almost caught some crabs. ;)

    :D

Anyway Axestroker, our weather has been much the same...we did get a downpour that lasted about 5 minutes last week but other than that, no-thing.

August is when the real fun starts though.....

You do recall I spent a May through September in Phoenix right? Bell Road and 32nd street biotch! So yeah, I've had a taste. ;)

I love the lightning, but I hate fucking humidity man!

I used to love how I could set my watch by the time the sand wave hit. 3:16 pm exactly! Every afternoon.

What I didn't like so much was being the night watchman at Ray Korte Chevrolet on Scottsdale and MacDowell and seeing that bank sign across the street at 5am saying Temp 105!

    *edit* caught crabs...nevermind...

  10. Boo hoo!

You hit 111 today amd supposedly are at 100 now.

We hit 114 today and its 104 right now.

I'll see your 100 and raise you a :fan:

    :D

Shut up you whiney fucking maggot (Denis Leary in there)! You grew up in this shit! I grew up at the goddamn beach! Bet your shit would tuck up if you spied a jellyfish while 100 yards from shore!

Who's cryin now Hickory Bitch?

BTW, you gettin any rain? We've been getting thunderstorms daily, but they stay up in the mountains. We get flash flood warnings, but no rain. :(

  11. Led-head is my personal favorite

but then again... imagine the wrath if we infringe on the copyright of the Dead-heads! :hippy:

I'm a long-time Deadhead. We don't have wrath, just backpacks and sandals! ;)

I think I can speak on behalf of my fellow Deadheads and say Cool man! Go for it! :hippy:

Now if we could just call our radio hour Whole Lotta Dead!!!
