I'm not going through this again. Andy Dick tried to troll this thread last year, making assumptions (wrong, as usual) about Walter's picks and trying to rope LZF77 into his shenanigans.

I know Walter and his family. They each make their own picks. Andy has a bug up his ass about Walter and can't deal with it.

This thread is an oasis for people to come and have some fun with the football season and leave the petty bullshit that some people bring to the Forum behind. If you can't leave it behind, then don't play.

If Andy is nudging you, kipper, to make these posts about Walter's picks, I suggest you stop or I won't take your picks anymore. You two want to keep up your baloney elsewhere on the Forum, if it is fine with Sam it's fine with me.

But leave it out of this thread.

Wrong.  I did leave the baloney out of this thread. YOU DIDN'T. Do you want Sam in it? I'll call him. ;) I don't need any of it. So fine.

Nice defense of your friend over nothing.

Nice edit: (counting the edit 50 minutes later which was "The only paranoid here is you, proven time and time again.")

Are you ready for some football or more proctology, Strider? If not for the edit, I wouldn't have posted.

Careful. He'll get a call from a paranoid, asking to look up your cat's butt for bugs too. I'm brainwashing cats to make picks. j/k

Best wishes to everyone. It's a good competition, Sean. And you and your friend were WRONG. Best wishes to you and your buddy too.

    Andy Dick. ;)

Sean, I've left the NFL thread in peace this year. As far as your competition, you've brought my name into the competition for two straight years now, when I haven't even wanted to play in it.

You shouldn't assume things, based on your dislike for me, or the fact that others see the same things. In fact, I didn't try to rope LZ77 into anything last year. He said something on his own. Same as kipper, I'm certain. Why else would you be saying "If Andy is nudging you..."?

Page was at his most consistent high quality playing on the 98 tour than any tour since 75. he was good at the O2, certainly good enough to make up for the mishaps of live aid and Atlantic shows, but he was nowhere near as on form as he was in 98

    just my opinion obviously

    Many thanks jsj.

^^ If "silvers" means vinyl, then no. Usually, when it comes to boots it's either Youtube or finding the whole show online if it's a really good one like Earl's Court

Of course, burning some select tracks to a disc works, too...  ☺️

Silvers means shooting the wad from our kind East Coast like a nuclear missile over the Okies to the Westies and to Japan for CDs.

I'll tell ya what, if you want to be Snow Blinded this Winter, I will surprise you. Hey, FLA needs some snow for Christmas every so often.

Best to you. Rock On, Paul.

Jesus Christ, what a bunch of cackling little bitches. Give it a rest, Robert nor anyone else owes you a damn thing. We are all lucky as hell we even got the O2. Shit, I still cannot believe Page & Plant did two tours in the 90's, that alone was a biblical level miracle if there ever was one yet some "people" are still not satisfied.

FFS, I guess there is a certain type of person who could get with the partner of their dreams, have the most perfect chemistry and the most mind blowing sex ever and when their mate tells them how lucky they are, all they can say is, "Meh, it's ok but she does not tickle my balls enough nor does she cook me Boeuf Bourguignon afterward...SAD."

Awesome post, IpMan. I'm curious. In form, were Page and Plant better in the 90's or during the 02 show?

Kashmir was perfect during the 02 show, but the composition was different. So it's not fair or possible to compare, but I'm just wondering. To be honest, the 02 Kashmir was the best and closest to studio as I've ever heard live.

I wasn't laughing after I got it back and it smelled like BO and her cheap purfume.  I was afraid it would be stretched too because she is very fat.

My apologies. I guess one size does not fit all. I was laughing at the thought of the expression on her face when you busted her with the name tag.

But Bertha ruined that shirt. I bet she had a lot of girth. That part is a shame. But I'm glad you got your shirt back. :)

I found my lost sweatshirt today at work. I guess somebody just decided they were cold and took it. It was on someone's chair in the break room. The woman who had said it was hers, I said look at my name on the tag and tell me it's still yours?

    some people. sheesh

  9. This WILL sound stupid, but it is coming from me (The Ultimate Man).

But why can't music just be free? If someone wants to use notes here and there, let them?

Either that or I have another idea - Let's sue everyone who uses any note!

Because other bands have used them, and other bands have heard those notes before, and have probably been influenced to compose music because of those notes.

When you really think about it, how many different drum beats are there that can claim plagiarism? Why doesn't Ringo sue Led Zeppelin for his Sgt. Pepper's Reprise vs. When the Levee Breaks kind of sounds like a slower version? Halfway Joking, Sam The Man. But these lawsuits are BS.

Led Zeppelin took notes on a scale, and did something amazing and better with them than anyone else had at the time. (period)

If someone else comes along and does a Led Zeppelin song better than Led Zeppelin, I would hope they would give the devil their due, but if not, I would hope music could just be free to enjoy someday. Bragging rights only.

I don´t think the Winston Remaster is among the best versions of this show, whereas the Eat A Peach is truly a good one. But I´d recommend the recently released Wendy Box, which contains 4 different complete sources plus the partial Rubber Dubber source. Two of the Wendy sources surpass the Eat A Peach version easily, at least to my ears.

But maybe there is another nominee for the gold medal, as the Graf Zeppelin Label has released their version of Blueberry Hill just a few days ago.

Usually 9/10 Graf Zeppelin relases are blessed with awesome sound.........

The 2018 Wendy Box looked so tempting. I was waiting for a recommendation on this. Thank you very much, Autumn Moon for the comparison between two of the sources on Wendy and the Eat A Peach.

Either the Eat A Peach release or the Winston Remaster that is floating around the internet...and also released physically on CD by Moonchild.

I appreciate that. Eat A Peach release is what I was listening to before I gave it to a co-worker. I always enjoy testing a copy of that one out.

Until yesterday, I had never heard the Eat A Peach (formally Godfather?) release. Thank you, Strider.

I read this topic because I want to know who has passed away (not that I want to know who passed and possibly pay Tribute to those who I admire and respect), but I truly believe that this constant nonesense bickering is a complete violation of this Awesome Forums protocol.

Ir seems that those who keep bickering and continue to post paragraphs after paragraphs of such stupid shit should be given a harsh warning to STOP this now.  IT IS COMPLETELY POINTLESS AND IRRELEVANT.

    AM I WRONG?

Yes and no. It's not "completely" pointless. It helps some of us feel better. People grieve passing in different ways.

I thought it was monumental when Billy Graham passed away. IpMan had some things to say about America's pastor.

I defend his right to get out what he felt made him feel better about it. He made good points, and I learned a thing or two.

I still respect what Reverend Graham did, and he could have been much richer if he wished, but I respect many of the opinions and strong feelings of my brothers and sisters on this site (whether I agree or not), including yours, King.

Hasn't it made you feel somewhat better when you've gotten off your chest what you felt you needed to say as well? I know it does sometimes. C'mon! Admit it. :yesnod:  No one expects total perfection.

Some of us respect the legacies of those that passed away, and others have disdain for it, and that's okay too.

At the end of the day, I believe none of us wish harm to each other on this good forum. We just disagree and venting helps you, me and all.

Can you see it that way too, King? Much respect to you. Anyway, I didn't want your post to go ignored. You're a good guy, and it's a legit question.

please dont post sappy bullshit in a thread reserved for honoring people who deserve to be honored. othwise post your [ ] RIP too strider

I edited your quote. I won't bring that name down on my post and dishonor this RIP thread with that name. We can call him "Chuck". No disrespect.

She reported sexual and racial harassment, and blamed George Clooney for helping her get blacklisted. He denies.

She has gone downward and deeply troubled. Like Strider said - "unchecked". But you're exactly right. Whatever she couldn't bare to live with normally, she's free, but the cop that shot her now has to deal with a heavy heart. The cop didn't know.
