  1. Since I'm 17 I don't have lots of concert experience, but my first big concert was Iris (4 years ago or so), one of Romania's biggest rock bands. They've been around for more than 30 years I think and they are heavily influenced by Whitesnake, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy etc. They had a successful collaboration with Uriah Heep:
  2. ^5 lacks creativity and energy, but hey, maybe stoner rock is just not my cup of tea... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QzGvoUMBoA

  5. I feel the same way about some of his songs. My absolute favorite must be Lose Yourself, which I used to play quite a lot during a certain period of time a while ago and I feel like I really connect with it. Beautiful, Sing for the moment, When I'm Gone and Like Toy Soldiers are also emotional. Not to mention his last album which gives me goose-bumps every time. Although I love Not Afraid, I can't say the same about Love the way you lie, which is nice, but not that nice (has looots of millions of views on youtube). I wish he made videos and promoted other songs on Recovery, say Cinderella Man or So Bad.
  6. Actually that guy appears to have wanted to only hug Slash, not hurt him. But the security guy pulled him, so he instinctively grabbed Slash causing the guitar also to break down.
  7. Don't wanna burst your bubble, but I think that 12 Queen songs in 15 replies are kind of enough (especially since this isn't a Queen topic).
  8. ^ 8 I was a bit skeptic, but it gets better and better towards the end . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9X_msJ-7OI
  9. The song is not on that album, but it's still very cool !
  10. ^ 8.5 I've given a listen to the whole album after hearing that song. Great band!
  11. ^ 6.5 I enjoy some Scorpions from time to time, when I'm in a rock-ish mood or smth, but I get tired of them pretty quickly. Klauss's voice is perfect for rock anthems and awesome sing-a-long choruses, especially live.
  12. I don't understand what could be so important to be that late for your own show, especially when there are thousands of people waiting for you. And it's not like someone told him "Ok, in 10 minutes you gotta be on stage, sorry for the short notice". They are not some unknown band that no one cares for, I mean, have some responsibility. Does he not understand how annoying and out of line this is?!
  13. ^ That's in my Top 5 Queen songs . I love the chorus! Smelly Cat from Friends is awesome too . I laugh my ass off when I listen to the Lose Yourself (Eminem) parody by Weird Al...although I really enjoy the original song too .
  14. ^8 Groovy, and nice duet; I'm not too familiar with these guys. Something I have just put on YouTube:
  15. ^7 It starts off well but it gets kind of boring since nothing else happens for 5 minutes and a half. Nice song, though. Now something a bit different: I've already listened to Fallen and I really enjoyed it, half of the album is in my playlist for two days.
  16. ^ 9 Awesome! I'll have to really check them out sometime soon... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REeqmxBJVm0
  17. That's one hell of a performance !!!
