It's hebrew/yiddish for Good Luck - but not as in a wish for good luck, but in the fact that you're having good luck. Meaning congratulations!!
So, yes, it's a good thing!!
I had a fellow tell me in high school that his surname, Glick, which happens to be mine as well, is "good luck" in Yiddish. True?

Electricity. Been w/o power since last evening after severe thunderstorms tore through central Virginia during rush hour (microburst/wind shear). Lots of downed trees, power lines, and damaged homes

I went to ye olde Guitar Center and bought some strings for my (my son's actually) acoustic. Now I can really jam some Rush.

Is it Jones Motor Purr Seal Up? Comes in a glass bottle for around $3.00. Hubby ownes a auto repair shop and thats what he uses when customers can't afford to have the radiator replaced. He seems to swear by it.
Actually, it's called Bar's Stop Leak. So far, so good.
